"Coming Changes in the Global Prophetic Movement! God is Pouring Out Prophetic 2.0!"

Over the past century, the Holy Spirit has been poured out in movements like Azusa Street, the 1920s Signs and Wonders, in 1948 the Latter Rain Movement, and in 1967 the global Charismatic Renewal overlapping with the Jesus People Movement. Let's also consider the Argentine Revival, Chinese House Church Explosion and the Third Wave Movement in the 1980s and beyond. We can also add in the historic outpourings of the Holy Spirit in the Toronto Blessing, Brownsville Revival, and others.

Now, God Is Pouring Out The Prophetic 2.0

On the Day of Atonement in 2014, the Lord audibly spoke to me and said, "The seeds that the seers and prophets sowed a generation ago have now come into maturation and fruition. Therefore, I will release again the gift of a detailed word of knowledge creating an atmosphere of awe, wonder and the fear of the Lord."

"It is no longer only about a few highly gifted leaders, but it is now about sending forth a loving army of God walking in the character of Christ, demonstrating signs and wonders to fulfill the Great Commission."

Did you catch that? The Lord wants to create an atmosphere of awe, wonder and fear of the Lord through the release of an increase in the gifts of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in new levels. The Body of Christ must learn to cooperate together and stop promoting the political spirit and its control structures. This sounds like a perfect recipe for a great harvest!
The Church is now ready for upgrades in the prophetic gifts. Things that were in their infancy stages years ago will now be taken to the next level. It's time for the Prophetic 2.0!

Key Scriptures for The Prophetic 2.0

"Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:19)
"As the rain and the snow come down from Heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: it will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV)
"But Moses said to him, 'Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them!'" (Numbers 11:29)

A Brief History of the Modern Prophetic Movement

Signs, wonders and revelatory activity as recorded in Acts 2 mark the birthday of the Church under the New Covenant. "When the day of Pentecost had fully come..." (see Acts 2:1) there were manifestations of wind, fire, gifts of the Holy Spirit, conviction and conversion following the preaching of Good News. The prophetic promises as recorded in the book of Joel were having their initial fulfillment. But it is time for the greater works to come forth.
Throughout Church history, there have been ebbs and flows of Holy Spirit activity, revivals and awakenings. The following is a brief glance at the history of expressions of the modern Prophetic Movement over the past 120 years.
1904-1908 – Topeka, Kansas and Azusa Street Outpouring restores the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the gift of speaking in tongues. (Photo via James Goll)
1920s – The Signs and Wonders Movement emerges using both men and women in ministry.
1948 – 2 streams of the prophetic emerge: 1) the Latter Rain Movement and 2) the Healing and Deliverance Crusades as the nation of Israel has a rebirth.
1967 – 3 international streams of the Holy Spirit come forth: 1) Charismatic Renewal, 2) Jesus People Movement and 3) the Messianic Movement.
1980s – The Prayer Movement goes global while the Third Wave Movement crashes in upon traditional mindsets that previously promoted Cessationism.
1988 – There is a rebirth of the Prophetic Movement in two primary locations: Kansas City, MO and the pan handle of Florida with distinctions of the Seers and the Prophets spreading to multiple equipping centers around the globe.
1994 – The Toronto Blessing is poured out followed by the Brownsville Revival with massive global activity creating new centers and understandings of wineskins.
2004 and Beyond – A fresh worship movement emerges while the Apostolic Reformation takes shape as the prophetic moves into the marketplace.
2014-2018 – As we celebrated the 500th anniversary of the Great Reformation, the 4th Wave of the Holy Spirit begins emphasizing transformation.
TODAY! – It is the time of the convergence of the ages channeling empowered Believers towards a great harvest.

Applications from Previous Prophetic Movements

Earlier prophetic movements focused primarily on the following expressions of the prophetic gift and ministry.
• Prophetic Presbytery: 3 or 4 gifted elders functioned in a team ministering prophetically over a selected group of Believers.
• Singing in the Spirit: Congregations sang corporately in the gift of tongues to create an atmosphere of the manifested presence of God.
• Personal Prophecy Restored: In addition to the inspirational gift of prophecy, individual personal words termed "personal prophecy" were restored, released and multiplied.
• Platform Ministry was the Primary Expression: Even though the prophetic gifts were being restored, the primary applications were restricted to those who were sovereignly gifted – for the few, not the many.

Changes Within the Last Generation

"The Lord wants to create an atmosphere of awe, wonder and fear of the Lord through the release of an increase in the gifts of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in new levels."

Many changes have occurred in our understanding and applications concerning the revelatory gifts over the last generation.
• The Emergence of the Prophetic in Four Distinct Levels: These levels are: a) Spirit of Prophecy; b) Gift of Prophecy; c) Ministry of Prophecy; and d) Office of a Prophet.
• The Emergence of The Seer and The Prophet: Rather than being in suspicion and competition, these two divergent streams of the Holy Spirit began to value and appreciate one another. A culture of honor which cherishes diversity begins to form
• The Emergence of Men and Women Together: Previously, women were rarely released into leadership positions; therefore, women did not even participate in prophetic presbyteries. Today, room is being made for women in both ministry and leadership in every form of prophetic ministry.
• The Emergence of Joining the Generations: Instead of competing with one another, especially in the realm of the old prophets versus the young prophets, today we have the joining of generations. Fathers and mothers of the prophetic are recognized.
• The Emergence of True Voices Confronting the Religious Spirit: As the Third Wave Movement emerged, the religious spirit was exposed and a measure of cleansing came within the Church. This in turn released greater freedom and expression in the prophetic movement at large.

A Template for the Future

Much change has already taken place. But where are we headed? What does this coming Church-quake look like? What are some of the characteristics of the Prophetic 2.0? (Photo via James Goll)
• Political spirit is being exposed.
• Elitism and control structures are being confronted.
• A new prophetic language based out of the heart of love comes forth.
• Kingdom consultants are empowered to go from the Church to the world.
• ATM – a healthier Apostolic Team Ministry forms.
• Fear-Based eschatology is replaced by a glorious eschatology.
• 7 Spirits of God are released into the 7 cultural mountains.
• We shift from a culture of protectionism into a true second apostolic age of the Church where Believers become empowered by the Holy Spirit and are "sent ones". It is no longer only about a few highly gifted leaders, but it is now about sending forth a loving army of God walking in the character of Christ, demonstrating signs and wonders to fulfill the great commission.

A Time when Revelation 5:6 Becomes a Guiding Passage

"Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it has been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He has seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth."

Prayer of Positioning for Ourselves for The Prophetic 2.0

Father, we are grateful for new beginnings and the period of time called the "restoration of all things" spoken by the holy prophets of old. We declare that we go from glory to glory in Christ Jesus. We are thankful for the opportunity as individuals, churches and ministries for the entire global prophetic movement to move into a broader, deeper and purer release of the prophetic. We declare it is time for the Prophetic 2.0 to come forth. May we grow in revelation, wisdom and application as we set our aim towards the end time great harvest to share the love of Jesus with the world. Amen and Amen

TIME TO TAKE BACK THE LAND!

Yesterday I saw what looked like a ship in the clouds, sailing into the city as we left our night service. God said the glory ships are sailing in. Get ready for unprecedented waves of His glory to flood the streets of our cities!
As I was reading up on ships I found that the crews of a ship are called “hands.” The “hands” are responsible for guiding the vessel, carrying loads of valuables and cargo, providing heavy gun fire from afar, etc.

To those who have been stuck in warfare and don’t feel like it’s breaking, know this: the hands of God are reaching down and intervening on your behalf. He’s breaking you out of this fight and breaking the resistance against you. Waves of glory are getting ready to pass over you. Don’t give up, keep pressing on toward the victory. Keep contending for God’s glory and don’t give up the fight.
Every service I have gone to lately, God has had us in a place of steadfast worship. He’s been causing His people to contend and push unlike ever before. Just when people felt like they were to transition, another wave of glory would come in. The word on my heart has been “encounter.” This is a time where God wants to encounter His people like never before. But encounter requires participation, encounter requires being purged of ourselves, encounter requires us contending when we feel like giving up.
God is jealous for His bride, and He is coming after her. Get ready for radical encounters. In the 1700s through the 1900s, any battle that took place near the coast felt instant relief, hope, and another wave of fight fill their body as they saw the ships of their kingdom sailing in. They knew they weren’t alone, and they knew that help was arriving on their shores.
Today, I want you to know that God is sending assistance. Angels have been dispatched on your behalf, the vessels of glory are arriving on your shores, and every foe will bow and be crushed at the weight of God’s glory.
Whenever a king sent assistance it was not only to win the war, but it was to take the land! God has been speaking to me these last few weeks about the time to advance His kingdom and take the land. He told me the blood line had been drawn, the clarion call had been sounded, and it was time to advance. Last night when I saw this ship, He spoke to me that He is sending the assistance and that all of heaven is fighting with us. My heart is grieved at what I see in the body of Christ right now, but my heart is also encouraged that we as the church are entering our greatest days. It’s time to shake the dust off your feet, it’s time to stop mourning over those who you’ve lost along the way, and it’s time to advance the Kingdom of God through all the earth!

I was watching “The Bible” movie again for the umpteenth time when the Lord started talking to me about Gethsemane.  As I studied this final evening in the garden prior to Jesus’ crucifixion, the Lord began to show me some things. For starters, I found that I had actually researched the name Gethsemane before. Not surprisingly, since God is a “patterns God”, that simply means that God had already established this pattern.  Then, realizing that Jesus is our template – our pattern – I believe that the Lord downloaded part of what He underwent in the garden that night as yet another pattern: a key strategy for REVIVAL!

Gethsemane itself means “Oil Press”.  The etymology of Gethsemane consists of two elements. The first part comes from the word (gat), meaning press. The second part comes from the root (smn) and may mean olive oil or eight – either of which works for me!  You see, olive oil is produced under pressure. Similarly, pressing in during prayer produces the new thing which would be the number eight – new beginnings!

My people have forsaken prayer!

I believe that Jesus is our template for this life and that He is our model for our existence. Few would argue with this fact.  However, I believe this particular passage of scripture not only tells of Jesus’ crucifixion and the hours immediately preceding it…not only does it tell us how we should act, react and respond under pressure…but I believe there is another message, a deeper message as well, even a hidden message.  I believe that God is speaking to us in this hour about prayer.

A few days ago the Lord said to me, “My people have forsaken prayer!” He went on to say that we need to return to it, that we need to return to our first love.  He also said, “All great revivals have been birthed in prayer!”  I believe that His heart is this: in order to produce the results that we want to see, we have to return to the Oil Press of prayer.  We need to return to the garden of Gethsemane.

You see, Jesus went to this garden in order to save mankind. The sin of the world was so heavy upon Him as he prayed that it actually caused Him to sweat blood.  Luke 22:41 says that Jesus prayed that the cup would pass from Him (paraphrased), but it wasn’t until He went back to praying more intently, in Luke 22:44, that scripture says it actually happened:

“And being in agony [deeply distressed and anguished; almost to the point of death], He prayed more intently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down on the ground.”

More pressure = Richer Oil

In researching the oil press, it seems that the virgin oil, the “first cutting”, is obtained by crushing the olives and soaking them in hot water, allowing the virgin oil to float to the top, where it is skimmed off by hand.  The deeper oil, the second press, is where the oil obtains a darker, reddish brown color – very similar to blood in appearance.  One does not obtain this blood color oil – the deeper, richer oil – without an intense amount of pressure for a protracted amount of time.

his speaks volumes to me!  The first crushing is almost superficial.  This crushing during learning how to walk this Kingdom walk while being soaked in the hot water of the refiner’s fire, produces oil – for our own benefit! Likewise, any prayer that we have prayed so far for revival has issued forth only this first layer of oil.  It is not until we go back into our prayer closets, into our war rooms and really pray MORE INTENTLY, applying even greater amounts of pressure on heaven, that we will see the deeper, richer oils of revival for which we so long.

Pressure creates the blood of grapes.

But wait, there’s more! If a little bit of pressure and crushing along with some hot water creates oil, then a lot of pressure – intense pressure – will produce a darker oil, one with more substance, one that resembles blood….even the blood of grapes (see Genesis 49:11).  You see, the first part of the word (gat) by itself in Hebrew (gimel, tav) can also mean WINEPRESS. The second part, (smn) means oils or eight.  This literally translates into “winepress of oils” or “winepress of eight”. Again, either one works for the body in this hour – new wine, new oils and deeper, richer oil and wine for new beginnings and REVIVAL!

But it will only happen when we press in, praying even more in earnest, more intently for revival to come. Most of us are so busy that it is a challenge just to get into the prayer closet, let alone pray it through.  However, the old acronym for BUSY, “Buried Under Satan’s Yoke” still applies!  It is a favorite tactic of the enemy to keep us so busy that we cannot find time for the things that REALLY matter! We need to get UN-Busy with the things of the world and then get busy in the closet – our prayer closet.

Pray for strategies to come forth from heaven to get blueprints and directions to proceed. It is no accident that the Lord had me watching this movie of Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane for the umpteenth time.  He has a plan that He wants to go forth about the Oil Press of Prayer. He wants us to press in like never before, battle the enemy on our knees, and come out victoriously on the other side!  He wants sustained revival even more than we do.  Let’s give it to Him!

He Who Lives Unto Himself Must Die to Himself – Don’t Fight The Process Of Death That Must Come (To You) To Produce His Life (In You).
At least in part, 2018 is about beginning to receive fullness of our inheritance on earth. This begins by internal order emerging through chaos, as restlessness gives way to rest. Rest is characterized by lack of worry, which can only come when we realize God has “all things” covered in our lives. We no longer worry about people (or what they think), or things (what we will eat or drink – own, lose, achieve for ourselves, etc.,). We grant God permission to be “all things” to us, for us, in us, about us – He truly becomes our ALL!
Life enters a new dimension on earth as we begin to live as in heaven – without care, or doubt, or fear, or concern for anything. We know we are protected, provided for, enriched, engulfed in His love and presence. We are fulfilled because we are filled full – He is our healer, our energy, our strength, disposition, motivator, guide, enabler, provider: His is ALL we need.
Any circumstance contrary to the word in my life is contrary to His will in my life, therefore the authority of the word in me rules until the circumstance changes. I have been given dominion and authority over all things in the earth: I was sent here to reign and rule, to maintain (not manage) the garden of my life – my job is maintenance (obedience), not management (striving). I have learned not to steady the ark with the work of my own hands lest I bring death (the curse) back upon me and my family. I have learned that complete surrender is ‘the key’ that completely unlocks my full inheritance just as a real key to a real safe unlocks the last will and testament of my parents gift to me. I have learned that the key of surrender is the mental understanding of ‘letting it happen’ as opposed to ‘making it happen’ – letting things come to me instead of me running after them. To totally surrender is to grant God permission to be Lord in and of your life.

LOSS AND PAIN ARE BEING TRANSFORMED INTO A TAPESTRY OF VICTORY AND JOY.

During my time with the Father this morning, I heard Him speak to my heart. He said, “I am restoring hope into the hearts of my children, I am causing them to dream again.” I then saw a vision where the enemy’s arrows of disappointment had been shot directly into the hearts of many of God’s children. These arrows were the enemy’s targets of substantial loss, sadness, failure, regret, depression, and disillusionment. I saw that these arrows were specifically targeted at the heart in an attempt to significantly wipe out many of God’s children by preventing the heart from beating with life and vision as it was designed. The enemy knew exactly where to strike and what to strike with, and many of these arrows were either still pierced in the heart or there was a great wound that remained in their place. I heard the Father say, “Though the wound was great, I am greater. Though it seems the enemy succeeded, you are about to see how I make all things new. I am restoring hope to the loss and I am healing the wound with my love.” I then saw His beautiful hands pick up and cusp the wounded hearts. For those where arrows still remained, He gently removed the arrows and He then turned and began working as a surgeon on the wounds.
Suddenly, it was as though I was in a surgery room of heaven, it was not like the ones here on earth, but there were tools all around marked with ‘hope’, ‘dreams’, ‘vision,’ ‘joy,’ ‘love’, and ‘life.’ I couldn’t see what He was doing at this point, but He was working with focus and precision, picking up various tools and using each one carefully. He had a smile on His face as His hands moved this way and that. I saw a light bursting through His hands and soon, a soft chuckle erupted into a riotous laughter as He turned towards me and presented the renewed heart. I moved closer to see His finished work and it surprised me. I thought the wound would have completely disappeared, but instead, what was in its place was a beautiful artwork of tapestry. A bright and colorful display of love that glimmered with gold flecks of life, it was art and it was breathtaking to behold. The heart was beating with rhythm and purpose; it was as though the Father’s tapestry of renewal caused it to beat with stronger worth and meaning.
Somewhat perplexed though, I asked the Father, “Why did you not eliminate the trace of the wound?” He looked at me with a smile, “I removed the pain of the wound, I removed its toxicity and it’s debilitating sting. However, where the wound once was, I have gifted them a piece of my own heart and it is now the framework of a weapon. It now serves as a marked reminder for the enemy. Every time my beloved one remembers the arrow the enemy targeted them with, their heart will beat with My fire I have placed within them. Not only have I renewed their hope and vision, I have placed within their heart My zeal to target the enemy with My very own arrows. They will strike him down in the very place he attempted to destroy them. Because of this reminder, they will hit him with accuracy and precision. Bullseye!” He started to laugh again and His joy was contagious.
I see now that the Father is not only restoring His hope to those who have experienced insurmountable loss and heartache, but He has gifted them with something they never had before. Zeal and authority to take out the enemy in the exact target he tried to destroy them with. The Father is turning the loss into victory; He is turning it around for His glory and for their benefit. They are going to see how He not only restores their vision, but He has gifted their hearts with the fullness of His own. They will see that through this experience, rather than being the victim the enemy wanted, they have now become a force to be reckoned with, a victor, a warrior of the King, complete in the Father's love and full of His fire.
I want to encourage you today, surrender the broken fragments and pieces of your heart to the Father, beloved ones. We are in a significant time where He is restoring hope to the losses, life to the disappointments and healing for the wounds, but there is so much more than just restoration, He is gifting you with a weapon. The weapon of His heart, and in turn, you will find yourself dreaming again. It is time to dream with the Father again, see His visions for your life as you move forward in victory and destroy the enemy where he attempted to destroy you.
I am reminded of Psalm 3:3;
‘But in the depths of my heart I truly know that you, Yahweh, have become my Shield; You take me and surround me with yourself. Your glory covers me continually. You lift high my head when I bow low in shame. I have cried out to you, Yahweh, from your holy presence. You send me a Father’s help.’
Life is not over, but it has just begun.

Be still and know that I am your God. No matter what happens in the natural know that I am faithful and that I am working all things together for your good. I am strengthening you as you bypass the things in the natural and look to Me, the author and finisher of your faith. I started a good and perfect work and I will complete it.
Commit all things into My hands and I will keep it that is I will keep it safe for you. Your treasures are hidden in Me where no dust or rust can harm it not can anyone rob it from you. Did I not say to be watchful for the enemy goes about like a roaring lion seeking who he can devour, but if you stay hidden in Me, you and your loved ones will remain safe.
This is the day of the latter rain outpouring. Some say there will not be any major move of My spirit that is revival but I say if you cry out to Me to move, I will pour out My anointing upon you. I will burn up the dross in the land and bring My kingdom purposes but it is in My timing these things shall happen.
As the enemy comes in as a flood, I will raise up a standard against him. I will have justice in the lives of My people who have cried out to Me night and day. I have heard your cries and I am moving on your behalf. Keep looking to Me and rest knowing that I am sovereign and I have everything under My control. The enemy cannot touch you without My allowing it. And all things are working together for your good and the good of My kingdom says your God.

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. | John 15:2
Many have experienced such an intense season of pruning that it has left them with a feeling of tremendous loss and sadness, but I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, “The very sword that cuts will be the sword that heals!”
There are times when a doctor will cauterize a wound. This is a gruesome process of sealing the wound to stop the bleeding. It can be a painful process, but the result brings healing. Many have been walking around with open wounds for an extended period. The Lord is the Master Physician, and in His goodness and wisdom, He is cauterizing the wound so that it will be sealed and will never again cause you pain! The Lord has been dealing with woundings of the soul and has been doing a deep work in the hearts of His people. He is breaking the chains that have once held you in bondage.
Whom the son sets free shall be free indeed (John 8:36).
What has looked and felt like such loss the Lord is going to turn to gain. As you have allowed Him to do the painful but necessary work in you and have trusted the process even when you have not understood, you are now going to soar to new heights with Him. You will leap over the very obstacles that have once been used by the enemy to cause you to stumble greatly. As it is written, “With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall” (Psalm 18:29).
There are generation change agents that the Lord is bringing out of hiding. These are the ones who have fought and won battles on their knees through many tears and intercession. They, through much trivial, have entered through the narrow gate and the Lord is now bringing them to the forefront. What they have done in secret will be rewarded openly (Matthew 6:4). They have continuously and bravely said yes to the call, even though it has seemingly cost them dearly.Be encouraged, forerunners; where many have misunderstood you and even spoke out against you, God has seen your heart. He is going to restore your honor and bless you beyond what you can imagine! Just as it is written, “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life” (Matthew 19:29).
Do not listen to the lies or taunts of the enemy that seeks to tell you that you’re going backward. The very opposite is true; God is now catapulting you forward! You are going to soar to new heights with Him. The intense amount of pruning that you have endured is going to yield a massive harvest in your life. You will be a shade tree to many; they will partake of your fruit and find shelter under your branches.
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings (Isaiah 58:11-12).
