In the notes of the song with the sweetest refrain

In the most joyous laughter and the agony of pain

We’ve never been without you from the moment of birth

Nor will we be alone while we’re leaving this earth

Our momentary suffering does have a purpose, it is not in vain

He is molding and shaping when we go through each pain

There’s a hell to avoid and a heaven to gain

You are there in our sickness and in the gaining of wealth

In the increase of strength and in declining health

As we give all to You, at the foot of the cross

Your Presence makes it worth it; you help us deal with each loss

I pray You’ll help us when we miss seeing the light

and the love in Your eyes

Because of clouds of confusion or distractions in the skies

I love the way God speaks to me, what more can I say

He’s with us in our seeking and speaking; especially when we pray!
