"God Showed Me: It's Time for the Latter Rain"

Personally, I feel that I am in the time for which I was born. I'm convinced that we have only a short window in the days of President Trump for the greatest revival and awakening in America's history. Without it, I see no future for America. We must seize our divine moment.
Years ago, in the 90s, I experienced a prophetic swirl that I believe is pointing to a specific time of fulfillment. I woke up one morning with an intense desire to read two books that were very dear to me: Rain From Heaven by Arthur Wallis, the father of the Charismatic Movement in England, and Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting, by Derek Prince. The catalyst of that desire was a specific chapter in Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting, titled "Fasting Precipitates the Latter Rain." I looked feverishly for those two books but I had either lost them or given them away. For a whole day I experienced groanings of the Spirit, praying that I might find those books. I wanted confirmation that a movement of fasting would precede the latter rain revival.

God Confirms His Promise

"It's time to shape history with prayer and fasting."

That night I was scheduled to speak in Lancaster, California. Before the service I was preparing in Pastor Joe Sweet's office when he suddenly rose from his desk, walked to his bookshelf, and called me over. He reached down and pulled off his shelf the book Rain From Heaven and said, "I think you're looking for this book." It was shock and awe! I knew God was confirming His promise. The following morning I was teaching a prophetic class. One of the students came in and said, "Mr. Engle, I was down at the Anaheim Vineyard this morning and a man shouted, 'I know you are going to see Lou Engle today. Give him this book Shaping History Through Prayer and Fasting...he's searching for it.'"
God does not bring these kinds of whirlwinds simply to entertain us. He was shouting: "There's coming a time for the outpouring of the latter rain and you must pray and fast to give birth to it!" The Scripture commands us in Zechariah 10:1, "Pray for the rain in the time of the latter rain..." but how do we know when it's time?
Joel chapter 2 gives us the paradigm for recognizing these times and seasons. Joel's prophecy is set in the context of the utter destruction of the economic system of Israel due to the nation's spiritual apostasy. The prophet gives God's prescription to the crisis: he calls for united fasting and prayer, after which he promises the restoration of the land of Israel and the outpouring of the latter rain of the Holy Spirit on all flesh, i.e. the Gentile nations. By these two things – the outpourings of the Holy Spirit among the Gentiles and significant happenings concerning the state of Israel – we know we are in the time for Joel 2 fastings.

Israel and the Latter Rain

Historically, in 1948, the Holy Spirit was poured out in a movement called The Latter Rain. They had been fasting for three months in the winter of '47 and '48, inspired by a book called Atomic Power With God, Through Prayer and Fasting that had become a catalyst for a worldwide fasting movement. The Spirit was poured out in early 1948 and they called it "The Latter Rain". Also in 1948, we see the second dimension of fulfillment of Joel's fast in which God says that He will restore the land, the grain, the oil and the new wine. This is exactly what happened in 1948 – Israel became a nation and the land was restored.
In a similar fashion, in 1967, Israel took back the entirety of Jerusalem in the Six Day War. For the first time since the destruction of the city in 70 AD, it was back in the hands of the Jewish people. In both '48 and '67 there were wars fought concerning these historic transactions. At the same time in 1967, the worldwide Charismatic Movement begins, the Jesus Movement was manifested, and Jews began to come to Christ in unprecedented numbers. Do you see it? Once again, Gentile outpourings and natural historic events taking place in the land of Israel flowed together.
What is stunning is the cycle we find ourselves in now at the 70th anniversary of The Latter Rain outpouring and the 70th anniversary of Israel becoming a nation. Daniel, when he understood that 70 years was up for the desolations of Jerusalem, set himself to fasting and praying. Shortly afterwards, Cyrus, the new king, issued a decree for Jerusalem to be rebuilt and for the Jews to return to their land. It is my contention that we are now in a similar 70 year cycle and that Joel 2 must precede another outpouring and a significant transaction over Israel and Jerusalem.

Right now significant events are brewing in this 70 year timeframe for Israel. President Trump (possibly a modern-day Cyrus, as has been prophesied), has recently recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and is moving the US embassy to that sacred city. Meanwhile, Muslim riots are taking place around the world because of it. We are in a historic moment and much is hanging in the balance. We must pray for wisdom for President Trump in his ongoing negotiations with Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the restraining of anti-semitism. Pray Romans 11:12-15 for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the salvation of the Jews. It's time to shape history with prayer and fasting.

Fasts Shape History

In 1976, I moved to Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, OH, not far from Columbus. There I made a vow that I would seek Acts 2 no matter what the cost. That vow sent me on the journey that I am now on – calling for Joel 2 gatherings of corporate fasting and prayer, believing for Acts 2 outpourings. I have to believe that TheCall has been a Joel 2 preparation for the fulfillment of my personal transaction with Heaven. I'm still looking for Acts chapter 2.
Last year, I spoke at Oral Roberts University on the subject of the 40-day fast. 70 years before, in 1947, Oral Roberts fasted for seven months and then the healing revival broke out. I was calling ORU to enter into the sacrifices and faith of their spiritual father. Months later, I was in Columbus, Ohio mobilizing for The Revival Man Tour in Cleveland (which took place in July) and The Revival Man gathering in Columbus coming on January 13, 2018.

"There's coming a time for the outpouring of the latter rain and you must pray and fast to give birth to it!"

A young man came to me and said, "I was at that ORU gathering, Mr. Engle, and I was so moved that I wept and prayed for three hours at the chapel altar. Later that night, I had a dream that I was in Columbus, Ohio and I saw a fireplace and an angel stood before it with bellows fanning the embers into a great flame. The angel was crying 'Joel 2 leads to Acts 2! Joel 2 leads to Acts 2!'" He dreamed the same dream three nights in a row and because of it, he moved to Columbus to pray for that Acts 2 fire. Columbus has now called for a 40-day fast that started in January. Could this storyline indicate that we are in the season of Joel 2 to Acts 2 fulfillment with Columbus being a prophetic timepiece?
In 2009, I was going into the woods to fast 40 days on water with three friends. The night before going I dreamed that my belly was being operated on. I awoke with this thought: "Is God desiring to operate on my appetites and make me a Daniel for the shifting of history?" In the middle of that fast a prophetic intercessor emailed me with a dream. In her dream she saw me fasting and lying down asleep. Five angels came into my bedroom, operated on my belly (exactly what I had dreamed), took the book of Daniel, lit it on fire, and sealed it into my belly. The scene changed in the dream and all these young people were coming to me in shirts that said: "The Sons of Thunder".
Again, I wonder if that experience was pointing to this same season of fulfillment. In 1948 and '49, the great evangelists began to arise – men like Bill Bright and Billy Graham. I believe we are in the hour when Jesus, the Evangelist, is rising again and this 40-day fast, the Jesus fast, is preparing the way for a new Jesus Movement, for the latter rain outpourings and transitions in Israel. Pulling it all together, I am personally convinced that my early prophetic experience of receiving the two books is pointing to a present fulfillment of a fresh outpouring of the latter rain and a next step of restoration for the land of Israel. When Daniel knew it was his time, he set his face to fast. Revelation demands participation!

TIME TO MAKE SURE

Dear one, I am calling you to My side to walk with Me and to talk with Me in the cool of the day. Come morning or evening I want to be with you as a way of life of close communion with you for these are the latter days, and you need to know Me not to know of Me but to know Me intimately.
Many have gone off to do their own thing and have left Me out. They think they are still walking with Me but they are following after a counterfeit spirit that they think is Me. Yes, they have gotten deceived because they have opened the door through justifying sin wanting to do things that I am not allowing them to do. Many have departed from Me because they wanted to dabble in the occult. You cannot mix together good and evil, a little leaven leavens the whole lump.
Examine your own heart if you have compromised in any way in your walk with Me. If you can see any area even in the least amount, repent of it immediately for you do not want to open yourself up to a counterfeit spirit masquerading as Me. You have heard before of counterfeit Christs, and this is the hour where there are many leading many into apostasy.
I am calling you to My side to examine your heart so that you know you are pure and untainted by the ways of the world. Many churches are full of mixture and are not walking with Me. They have given over to pride making a name for themselves and robbing Me of glory and have given over to merchandising the gospel robbing My people of the funds I needed them to use for other things that were important for the Kingdom.
Beware of the wolves in sheep clothing. Do not follow after those who call themselves Mine before testing the spirits. Do not always be sure of those who have a large following for wide is the way to destruction and many go that way.
I call you to My side because I love you and I want you to be sure that what you have is genuine. I want you to know for sure you are following after Me. And most of all I want you to know that you are Mine says your God.

Word from the Lord:
My people, I come to you today with words of love, encouragement, and instruction.  You have entered the most exciting days in all of mankind if you can receive this.  For I have many surprises in store for those who earnestly seek Me for My presence and not just my blessings.
Listen intently to what I would say to you this day.  I am about to pour out My Spirit upon the earth in such a way that has never before been witnessed by man.  These are the last days in which I will show forth My power in the earth realm.  And many shall come into My kingdom in these last days.
However, I must warn you that the enemy of your soul is also preparing for his counterfeit of this great move of mine.  Do not allow yourselves to be deceived by his trickery and cunning deceit.  Do not allow yourselves to be led astray by those who may show signs and wonders yet will subtly and cunningly introduce destructive and distorted teachings, even denying Me as Lord, who bought them with a price, thus bringing swift destruction upon themselves.  I tell you, many have already followed their destructive ways, and because of these false ones, the way of truth has been maligned, and in their covetousness, they have made merchandise of many with their deceptive words.
My little children, it is not my desire that any of you fall prey to the enemy.  However, it is sad to say that many of My children have already been deceived by the many false prophets and teachers of these last days.  Yet, even so, it is still possible for you to loosen yourselves from their deceptions. If you would sincerely seek Me with all your heart and truly desire and seek after My truth, even to your own hurt, then I shall reveal to you the deceptions of your own heart and set you free.  For the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that you may have life and life more abundant.
Now listen to what I would say to you this day.  I need to prepare your hearts to receive all that I have for you in these last days.  And for Me to do this, I need you to spend more time in My presence.  I need you to sit in silence before Me and allow me to do a deep work within your hearts.  For I have many surprises in store for you.  But if you do not spend time alone with Me in the secret place, then I am greatly hindered from doing the work in you that I so much desire to do.
For I am preparing a people in these last days who will carry My Spirit and My authority to the nations.  And many shall come to their light and worship Me.  Yet, I need your obedience and willingness in this.  I cannot and will not do this work in the hearts of those who will not take up their cross and yield to the working of My Spirit.
There are many prophetic voices today declaring the coming great move of My Spirit in these last days.  Yet, few will prepare My people for what is needed for this great move.  Oh, I will do wonders and conduct miracles through the many who will be willing to be used.  Yet, only those who have fully surrendered to Me and allowed Me to purge, cleanse and refine them, will be the ones who carry My authority in these last days.
For I am preparing a spiritual house for Myself and My Father to dwell in.  And for one to take part in this house, they must allow the inner working of My cross to crucify all flesh and self-desire.  Therefore, I need you to spend time in My presence and allow Me to do this work.  And as you yield to the working of My Spirit in your prayer closets, you will be taking up your cross and denying yourselves as I have commanded in My word.
Therefore, allow Me to do this work deep within each of you.  For even if it may be painful to your flesh at times, the ending glory shall far outweigh any pain that you may endure.  And My deep love will heal all your wounds.  I love you, My lovely ones.  And it is My Father’s desire to give you His kingdom.
Therefore, do not take these words lightly and yield to the working of My Spirit.  For great shall be your reward, both in this life and the next.  And you shall be a dwelling place for your God and abide in our presence forevermore.  I love you all with an everlasting love and blessed shall be those who heed these words of Mine this day.

A Spiritual Eruption:  Mt Zion Release
This morning the Lord say, a “spiritual eruption” has taken place today. It has come forth from the Spiritual Mount Zion and spiritual lava of the Lord has been released.
It has been released and change has come forth by the Spirit of God. That which has hindering has been removed by the eruption of the Spirit.
Holy Spirit lava has been released to remove those things that hindered and replaced them with a new road and path to walk on.
God has made a roadway today where there was no road for those who are being released in this hour in kingdom power and authority.
It is a new way for your feet to travel on, a highway of holiness of the Lord. It is a holy road, a holy way, led by a Holy Spirit that is now going to cause you to walk from victory to victory.
Where there was much failure and stumbling in the past now there is a pathway of victory prepared for the Lord himself for you to walk on.
It is not going to be the same. So get rid of the old mindsets of failure and defeat and walk on the road that releases us from glory to glory. From greater glory to greater glory does this roadway reveal.
This spiritual eruption is about to change your life, your families, your work, and your work for the Lord to bring forth a greater and deeper alignment with the plans and purposes of God.
As there are rumblings now at Mt. Saint Helen, the shofar blast released there has come forth first in the spirit and the volcano from the Mountain of the Lord has erupted to bring great change to your life for the good and great disruption to the enemy.
The enemy can never walk on the highway of holiness for that road is made up of the very flame of the Lord. Now that flame is being released as spiritual lava that will form a roadway in the wilderness and pathways into the depths of the cities in our nation.
This spiritual eruption is the fulfillment of God’s promise to us. I will make a way in the wilderness. Our nation has become a spiritual wilderness, the majority of the church has lived and settled with defeated wilderness life and do not posses the glory of God’s victory, but that is about to change.
An overcoming people, a people who have learned to hear and obey the Lord instantly are now able to walk on this new roadway of the fire of his holiness.
They will bring the holiness of the Lord to a people God is making holy. The lame, blind, and the deaf will find this highway as God unfolds it before them and his servants bring them on this roadway.
God is going to change the heart mentality of his people from seeking to see signs and wonders to making them a sign and wonder and a true witness of the glory of God’s glorious Kingdom on earth.
All those he is forming in their hearts as his royal priesthood will now be able to walk on this new roadway God has made today by that spiritual eruption. They will pray and release the glory everywhere God sends them.
Each one will see it differently. Each one will see it differently for the road is unique and one size fits all doesn’t work in the kingdom. Each road is designed by the Lord for us to connect together, join together in his holy love to do only His will.
Each road formed today is unique and specific to the task God has released to be completed in them. There are some that will walk on the same road to do the same work together as a holy regiment in God’s army.
Some will form platoons, and companies on that roadway as it widens before us to transform regions and nations.
They are being formed into a unshakable and immovable army of the Lord.
But this new roadway will bring about the transformation of the city’s, neighborhoods, states, regions and nations and the peoples who will walk on it into the true kingdom of God on the earth. The kingdoms of this earth surely are becoming the kingdoms of our God in Christ.
This roadway is the roadway of fire and holiness. It is the roadway saved for last. John the Baptist declared this way when he said, “God was going to make the crooked places straight.”
For today that spiritual eruption has been released and the highway of holiness, the highway of the baptism of fire has been released in a new and fuller measure.
“For he that comes after me is mightier than I and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire. Today a news release of fire has come. Mos Fuego, Senior! More Fire Lord!
This spiritual eruption is transforming and so powerful that things will never be the same. This eruption is releasing a new strengthening, a new enabling to walk and go where you have never gone before.
You will do things you have never done before, and to bring about the things God has shown you in dreams and vision and spoken to you from the past into reality NOW!
Many of the promises that you may have let go of or forgotten or just gave up on could have only been fulfilled on this highway that is now unfolding before us. They were for a specific time and place you could not see when God showed you these thing.
This spiritual eruption has made a way for them to come into being because the roadway is now made for them to happen. So rejoice beloved of the Lord, that which you thought was lost has been found. That which you thought was dead is alive.
Take a leap of faith today and say, “lord today I put my feet on this highway and trust you now to bring the greatest change in my life and family now. As I walk on this newly formed highway of holiness, my life, my family, the work you have given me are now fully coming in alignment with your will alone. Father, let your kingdom come and your will be don on earth as it is heaven.
In this spiritual eruption divine release of provision has come to do all God has given you to do, the wealth of the wicked is now, is now, is now starting to be transferred to the just.
Just as you see in the earthly realm companies giving out financial bonuses and increasing pay to their employees even more is God doing that for his elect.
What you seen happening with these companies is a sign and wonder of the divine transfer of wealth of the wicked to the just.
What was stolen from us is now going to be restored with the glory of God and everything we need is on this roadway. We will walk in it and now truly become blessings to those in need as Jesus was when he walked the earth.
The spiritual eruption today from Mount Zion has released the lava of the Lord to make the new roadways we are now going to walk on from glory to glory and from victory to victory. To God be all the glory!

Word of the Lord: "2018 Will Trump the Prior Years"

A few days before New Year's Day, I heard the Lord challenge me to "expect more in 2018!" I immediately became excited as I thought: "Well, sure...I need to expect more—more breakthrough, more finances, more favor...more of whatever I might possibly need!" I began to make a mental note of all I needed to do to keep my expectations high. I concluded that more time in Bible study, quoting more Scripture passages, and making godly decrees would be a jump start into breakthrough.
After a few minutes of brain-storming, the Holy Spirit inserted something profound. He said, "Sandie, this will not happen because of what YOU do. This will all happen because My grace will chase you down in 2018." Now, I have heard spiritual leaders refer to God's grace overtaking us—but this was the first time God actually said it to ME! It was almost like His audible voice speaking loudly and clearly.
Then I had an a-ha moment. I remembered the numerous times I had heard Believers sadly confess, "... surely there's more to living the blessed life. I have tried everything I know to do and I can't seem to experience the needed breakthroughs!" (Notice all of times the word "I" was used?) I knew immediately to what they were referring—we should ALL be experiencing the fulfillment of so many of our promises from God! But, now I was beginning to see breakthrough a little differently.
It would occur not because we are working hard to achieve it, but also by simply believing for the grace of God to make it happen. Grace is greater than our past...and grace will continue to work to bring us from glory to glory (2 Cor. 3:18). Yes, His grace is going to literally chase you down. Believer, stay with me—this message will change your life!

Jesus is Our True North

"Just as we could not save ourselves by our own efforts, we cannot bring about change in our lives through our own efforts. We are not saved by God's grace to be changed through religious works!"

Each of us, as Believers, has a built-in compass and knows our true north in Christ. When we've sinned, we know it. When we have bad thoughts, we know it. When we stray from God, we know it. And when we know we are not experiencing all that God has promised, yep, we know it! Our internal compass always points to Jesus Christ.
The name of Jesus is from the Hebrew word meaning "to save, rescue and/or deliver." To say the name "Jesus" is to say, "God saves" or, "God sozo!" Jesus, our internal compass always points toward sozo—the Greek word for salvation. But sozo is more than having a born-again experience. Sozo means that we get so much more because of all that Jesus accomplished on the Cross. Jesus died to give us healing, deliverance, restoration, divine protection and (I like to say) everything Heaven has to offer! And, speaking about grace, Jesus, Himself IS Grace! Grace is a person and not simply a verb.
Most of us are poised on the edge of something great. We need a door to open. We need a doctor to give us good news. We need a call from our boss saying we have a promotion. We need a child to call and say he/she is coming home. If you are still reading what I am writing, this is for you! If you need hope, this article is a message from the Lord. He is empowering you to hope again!

The Woman at the Well Met Grace

Most of us are familiar with the story of the woman at the well. If anyone needed grace, this woman did. She had been married five times and was living with a man who was not her husband. I have read this passage and even taught from it many times, and now I realize that Jesus "chased her down" to provide divine grace for this woman—an obvious sinner. Let me unpack this a bit for you. See if you can relate to your own need to meet grace this year: face-to-face.
The account is in John 4. Jesus was leaving one place and en route to another. John explains that Jesus "had to go through Samaria." Now, back then, Jews did everything possible to avoid Samaria...but now Jesus "had to go there?" Hmm... It's interesting to me that the Jews did their best to go around that city, but oddly it says that He "had to go through Samaria." Just why is that? Because Grace was about to chase someone down. There was a woman in Samaria headed to get water at a well, and what she really needed was to meet the Well of Living Water and receive grace. Remember, grace is greater than anything—even adultery. There is nothing so terrible that grace does not cover.
Yes, Jesus "had to go..." The Lord is saying to us today, "I have to go right where you are! My Grace is going to chase you down! My grace will overtake every sin, every disappointment, every issue..." It doesn't matter what condition you are in today (sinful, lustful, stingy, gossiper, betrayer, liar, thief, hurting, etc.), His grace is greater. He wants to give you "living water." It's true, we're thirsty for breakthrough, but when we drink from Him there is an eternal satisfaction and "knowing" that we can rest in Him. Yes, we can trust in the fact that He would not promise breakthrough and not provide it. If grace is truly sufficient, this means grace will continue to work in us as we move forward and accomplish divine destiny. (Photo via Unsplash)

A Year of Grace, Completion and Open Doors!

For those of you who follow the Hebraic calendar, we have just shifted into the New Hebraic Year of 5778. In the Gregorian calendar, we just moved into 2018. One can study out the numbers of both years and get excited! Let's look at the significance of 5778 from a numbers perspective:
The number "5" is the number for grace.
The number "7" is the number for completion.
The number "8" is the number for new beginnings.
On the other hand, 2018 involves the numbers "2" meaning double portions, "1" meaning unity and "8" meaning new beginnings. Therefore, I believe we can easily conclude that we are moving into a season of great grace. Also, double portions await us as we come into greater unity with God and His Word. It's time to "agree" with Heaven and step into our new beginnings.

All the time, I see God's people live below the things that God has promised. After all, our God is a supernatural God and Jesus said He left us an inheritance—and it's incorruptible, undefiled and does not fades away. "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you so that always having all sufficiency in all things you may have an abundance for every good deed" (2 Cor. 9:8).
God Wants You to Live in Abundance
If you think of every need that you have, guess what? God wants you to have an abundance in that area. Healing should be a lifestyle. It's great to get healed and we should expect that, but to walk in His health is greater.
Everyone I talk to wants to give and support so many people—like missionaries, etc. They have a desire to bless people; to supply and help with the need of ministries and people who are struggling. Did you also know that God wants you to be deliriously happy? I don't think you would be delirious unless you were living in abundance. So, I want to tell you what God has been talking to me about.
Jubilee
I have seen a lot of words from Christians lately about the year of Jubilee. Most of them are related to a number of years either 25, 50 or 100. Actually, the word "Jubilee" does not particularly have to do with time but with an event or celebration. Being "Jubilant" means: "overjoyed exultant, triumphant, joyful, rejoicing, exuberant, ecstatic, thrilled, gleeful, enraptured and walking on air—seventh Heaven." There are a lot of emotions right in those words.
In the Bible (Old Testament), when THE JUBILEE occurred, it was referring to a time (fifty years) when there was a law of release put into effect. Slaves were set free, debts were forgiven, and lands and property restored. When the year of Jubilee came, of course there was great celebration (Jubilation) just like the words above. Think of all those burdens being lifted from our shoulders. Ecstatic is only one word. People who were bowed over suddenly stood straight. Those burdened by debt were released of the debt. It was indeed very good news.
The Bible says that, "If He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how then shall He not freely and graciously give us all things" (Rom. 8:32).
My friend (Chris Naylor UK) wrote a beautiful song which says, "I look after the sparrow, I look after the tree. I water it and feed it constantly, and if I can take care of them, how much more can I take care of you? You're more precious to Me, than any other thing you see."
I have even better news for you today. There is something better than the fifty year Jubilee—His name is JESUS. He IS our Jubilee. It is not in time, it's in eternity. It is endless, immeasurable, unending and eternal and immortal.
Jesus is Our Jubilee
When we are born, we are all debtors to the flesh, meaning we have our being in this humanity. We are prisoners to it, whether you like it or not. Our own human frailty includes sickness, debt, habit and addictions—there is no way to fight the things around us because we don't have any power to do so (on our own). We are captive to this earthly life until, by one course or another, we meet the Lord Jesus. Suddenly, there was a light that shone into our limited lives and another world began to unroll itself. We met our own personal JUBILLEE because Jesus is our Jubilee.
Remember the things I said about being jubilant? If you understand what Jesus has done (the ultimate Jubilee), you will become jubilant or overcome by Him meaning: "overjoyed, exultant, triumphant, joyful, rejoicing, exuberant, ecstatic, thrilled, gleeful, enraptured, and walking on air—seventh Heaven." This Jubilee is supernatural; it's not contained under the law as it was in the Old Covenant. It has no limit because the One who set you free is limitless.
His very nature is unrestrained—heavenly and not earthbound. It's indescribable and full of glory—immeasurable. His power has no boundaries known unto men. God's infinite riches dwell in Jesus, our Jubilee. He took away the power of death over you—the power of sickness—because He took it to the Cross and paid the price to cancel out the devil's power to stretch forth His hand toward you. He can cancel your debt because He already took your eternal debt. If He can take your eternal punishment, can you not take a lesser debt? If He paid for your eternal death, can He not take care of your temporary sickness? Can He not take care of you bills and your children or your family?
The Bible says, "To as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the children of God" (John 1:12).
Well many receive Jesus as a great teacher or even a prophet. Many Christians receive Him as their Savior and know He saved them from their sins and they will go to Heaven. But He is so much more than that. How have you received Him? Have you received Him as your Jubilee? This is no natural Jubilee...it's a supernatural Jubilee because it came from Heaven and not the earth.
Our Eternal Jubilee
He saved and released you from EVERY earthly bondage: sin, sickness, death, bondage, debts, fear, addiction, lust and destruction. There is nothing that is excluded from this wonderful, eternal Jubilee. This is the question then: How did you receive Him? Is He your Savior and Healer? Is He the Deliverer from addiction and lust? He is all and more...He is the all in all and we are in Him.
All our fountains are in Him; He is our complete source. As the famous hymn-writer says, "Source and fount of every blessing, tune my heart to sing Thy praise" (Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing by Robert Robinson).
"In Him we live and move and have our being..." (Acts 17:28).
Jesus the Darling of Heaven
Let me tell you a little more about Him, can I? This is from my book "Jesus the Darling of Heaven". You should read through it at least once a week. This is just a little part of who He is.
"He is our Shield, our Defender, our Rock; our Hiding Place. He saves us and keeps by His power, from sin and death.
"He is our Provider, Counselor, Great Shepherd—our Friend.
"He is closer than a brother—our love. He is the Husbandman; the Keeper of the vineyard. He is the Source of all blessing. He restores, rescues, forgives and redeems. He is our Victor, the Captain of Hosts, He is our Banner, and our Standard. Mighty in battle, He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is crowned with glory and honor, He is our Savior, Sanctifier, Redeemer; merciful and faithful High Priest. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. He was dead, but now He is ALIVE forevermore and He is seated at the right hand of God (seated—it's finished).
"He destroyed death, and led captivity captive. He is the great Apostle of our faith, He is the supreme Sacrifice, the spotless and blameless Lamb. He is our Anchor, our Strong Tower, our Shield, our Defender, and He was the Ancient of Days before the first day began. He is the Door, the Way and the Truth. He is the Treasure, the Pearl of great price; more precious than the finest gold. He was the Rock of Ages before any mountain peaks were formed. He was the Bread of Life, before there was any grain. He was the Lily of the Valley, before there were any flowers on the earth. He makes His enemies His footstools and laughs at His adversaries.
"He came from eternal glory to the depths of humiliation. He abdicated Heaven's throne for a pile of straw in a manger. He sacrificed infinite riches to embrace poverty—to break its power. He bade farewell to Heaven's love to receive men's hatred and shame. He surrendered Heaven's adoration to suffer scorn, and He turned from celestial bliss and life with Cherubim and Seraphim, to die between two thieves on a Cross.
"He is the Tree of Life. He is consecrated forever and makes us sanctified forever, by His precious Blood. He is the Minister of the Sanctuary, He is the Mediator of the New Covenant. He is the High Priest of GOOD THINGS to come, He's the Lion of Judah, and the Lamb who was slain. He is the New and Living Way. Jesus is the Darling of Heaven. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
He is the Holder of the Keys, He is the Amen and He is the Final Word
"He is qualified to open the Book. He is the expression of the heart of the Father. His love has no limits; His grace has no measure. His power has no boundaries known unto men, out of His infinite riches, He gives and gives and gives again. He is the Lily of the Valley the Bright and Morning Star—the fairest of 10,000. He is more precious than gold. He's the Glory and Lifter of our Heads. He is the Righteous Judge. He is a Refuge for the oppressed. He doesn't forget the cry of the humble. He bore our sorrows and our grief. He was despised and rejected of men and now He controls the destiny of the nations.
"The kingdoms of this world are going to become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and forever. He is our Portion and our Inheritance, His garments smell of sweet myrrh and His breath is as sweet apples. He hides us under the shadow of His wings, and keeps us as the apple of His eye. He is our High Tower. He makes the hills shake, the mountains melt and the heavens bow.
"He pulled back the curtain of eternity and stepped out on the stage of time for one brief moment, and then stepped back again into eternity, but in that one bridge moment of time, He sealed the fate of every man and fixed the destiny of every man and woman. He will light my candle, because He is the Light of Life. He is the Branch, and the Root of Jesse.
He is the Great Wave-Maker from Galilee
"He makes the crooked paths straight and the rough places plain. He split history and divided the ages.
"He preserves the faithful; He is the Resurrection and Life. He spoke and framed the world. He makes our way perfect and makes our feet like hinds feet. He causes us to walk in high places.
"He is Hearing to the deaf and Sight to the blind. He is Cleansing to the leper and Strength to the weak. He is Comfort to the oppressed, Hope to the hopeless and Help to the helpless. He is a Brother to the friendless and a Friend to the brotherless, and He is LIFE to the dead. He is infinite, eternal, glorious and full of majesty. He is the Covenant Keeper; keeping covenant with covenant breakers. He is sweeter than all the flowers. He is the lover of our soul and the keeper of our hearts. He is Music to the poet, and Song to the worshiper.
"His name has been whispered by thousands upon thousands of dying soldiers on the battlefields of the ages. His name has been the battle cry of those who fought for righteousness and truth. He is the King of all kings and all rulers and every nation will bow to Him. His name is Jesus!" Excerpt from my book, "Jesus the Darling of Heaven".

This morning I felt the Lord speaking about areas of the lives of believers where there has been continual lack of breakthrough and a real "tug of war", "back and forth" in seeing manifested breakthrough.

Those areas where it seems to get better, but then it goes back to how it was, so there's really never any "complete and TOTAL breakthrough" and that "tug of war" and "back and forth" has seen despair enter into the hearts of many.

The level of despair I saw within hearts in these areas were deep, and the pain and sadness was deep. A cry from the heart of His people rising up full of thankfulness for who He is, and for His marvellous works, but also a sense of despair that maybe their breakthrough will never come in this area, or God doesn't want to bring breakthrough. These areas of despair have really caused some deep heartache and many are living in these areas in the place of Proverbs 13:12:

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But desire fulfilled is a tree of life."

Many are struggling to "hope again" in these areas. To "believe again", to "have faith again".

That's where I saw our beautiful Jesus step in. He stepped in with His encouragement, comfort and strength as He whispered:

"The area where you have despaired, I am now about to bring about a great divine repair."

There is going to be a great move of the Holy Spirit in your heart and your circumstance where the Lord is going to bring about a great divine repair. These areas where despair has broken your heart, the Lord is coming to heal your broken heart. Jesus came to bring freedom for the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18 - The Passion Translation) and these areas that have broken your heart in despair are about to be freed, healed and repaired.

LOOK AGAIN

The Lord showed me that many who have been in this place of despair they have been "looking again" and "looking again" in faith for such a long time, to see if the breakthrough has come or begun, but have become tired of looking again, because there has been seemingly no movement.

I heard the Holy Spirit say "LOOK AGAIN" and there was a DOUBLE INVITATION in these words.

I felt the invitation SO strongly from the heart of the Father to "LOOK AGAIN" but look again in HIS PERSPECTIVE. Ask Him how HE sees the situation, and LOOK AGAIN through His eyes. He's coming to repair and restore but He's bringing a greater alignment in the people of God regarding vision, to see as He sees. "LOOK AGAIN" and as you see from the higher perspective HOPE will be breathed back into your heart again.

I then felt the Holy Spirit inviting His people as they keep their faces like a flint towards Jesus and how He sees, as you look at the situation again through His eyes, as your gaze has been intentionally focused upon His perspective, I felt the Lord say "LOOK AGAIN at the situation" and you will soon see the SHIFT has begun. Don't give up!

You really are closer to a finality of breakthrough regarding these situations than you realise.
