I Am Sending the Rain!

You, O God, sent the reviving rain upon your weary inheritance, showers of blessing to refresh it. | Psalm 68:9 (TPT)
Upon waking up this morning, I felt the sweet and tangible presence of the Lord so strongly that all I could do was weep and worship Him. I was immediately reminded of the Psalms, where it is written, “I long to drink of you, O God, drinking deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you” (Psalm 42:1). I then felt the Lord’s heart of encouragement for His Bride:
I sense Him saying today, “I am sending the rain! The rain of My presence will refresh and revive you. The fire has burned so hot that many of My children have felt little to no strength to move forward; the adversity and seemingly constant onslaught has been intense and pressing. They have felt as though they’ve taken steps forward only to be pushed back again. However, know that it is I who changes the times and seasons. This day I have opened the gates in the spirit realm, and you are passing through!
I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron (Isaiah 45:2).

“The prison bars that the enemy has sought to confine you in are swinging wide open, and you are coming out! As it is written in the Book of Isaiah, ‘The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners’” (Isaiah 61:1).
“My Beloved, today I place My signet ring and robe of authority upon you. I say to you well done, My good and faithful servant. You have endured much testing and have come forth pure, even as gold is tried by fire (Job 23:10). You shall now burst forth as a light in the darkness, and you will be one to offer hope to the hopeless.”
In the spirit I saw a battle field with many wounded saints who were laying down their swords. They were bleeding and bruised from all that the enemy had brought against them. Then I saw these burning ones—the ones filled with light—come and release life and hope to the ones who had fallen. Suddenly, the wounded’s strength and vigor were renewed, and they picked upon their swords once again—arising with a fierce fire of determination in their eyes.
I believe that the Lord is saying, “I am calling you to offer My hope to the hopeless ones. For freely you have received, now freely give (Matthew 10:8). You have entered into a kairos season, where you will see prophetic words come to pass that you have been contending for over the years. It’s your time and it’s your season,” declares the Lord!
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you (Isaiah 60:1).

From The NRSV Daily Bible
Meditate
You say, “See, I have defeated Edom,” and your heart has lifted you up in boastfulness. Now stay at home; why should you provoke trouble so that you fall, you and Judah with you? (2 Chronicles 25: 19)

Contemplate
There are two things you should know: first, what you are; second, that you are not what you are by your own power. Then you will boast, but not in vain. It says that if you do not know yourself, you should go and follow the flocks of your companions. This is what actually happens. When man has a high honor bestowed on him but does not appreciate it, he is deservedly compared with the beasts, with whom he shares his present mortality and state of corruption.

It happens too when a man does not appreciate the gift of reason and spends his time with herds of unreasoning beasts; and when he ignores the glory that is within him and models himself on the outward things his senses perceive; and when he is so carried away by curiosity that he becomes no different from any other animal, because he does not see that he has received anything more than they have.
And so we should greatly fear the ignorance that makes us think less of ourselves than we should. But no less, indeed rather more, should we fear the ignorance that makes us think ourselves better than we are. This is what happens when we are deceived into thinking that some good in us originates with ourselves. (—Bernard of Clairvaux, Selected Works)
Do I tend to think less of myself than I should or do I tend to think I’m better than others? Am I proud where I should be humble and self-effacing where I should be confident? Where does the good that resides within me originate from?
Pray
Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change (James 1: 17). Gracious God, you are the source of all good things. Forgive me for boasting in those good things as if they originated from my doing.

ANTICIPATING THE CAPTAIN’S ORDERS
Shared by Yolanda Ballard
Even in the deepest darkness I will be with you because you have known and trusted in My name. I am yours even if you walk away, I will always be there for you waiting and expecting your return. I will never let you go because I have called you forth as Mine even before the foundation of the earth. Before I created the universe I knew you and longed for when you would know Me and would be Mine.
I love you with the fiercest of loves, a ferocious fervency I have for you. I will protect you from all harm like a lion would protect her cubs. This is the end of the age and many are falling away. They have been chasing after other gods but I have entrusted in you the truth of My word. I have embedded it deep within your heart and you will never fall away. You have a deep discernment of what is of Me and what isn’t.
You have longed for My intimate touch upon your heart so that you would go deeper in Me. I have opened up My floodgates of glory and am ready to pour them out upon you. You will receive My authority, My power, to trample down powers and principalities just by calling out My name and worshiping Me.
I am your God and you are My people and I am ready to do a mighty work through you. I am giving out My marching orders and placing you in rank with teams with assignments I have you to do. I am repositioning My people in this very hour and giving you one new to you in command.
I am the Captain of the hosts of heaven and I am calling you to attention. This is the final hour and I am pouring out My power. In order to receive you must humble yourself and dwell in My secret place. Seek My face and not My hand. Be still and know that I am God and that I know all and in control of all.
Be very sensitive to My leading you how to pray.   I have given each of you an assignment to pray specifically but you must know My directives. Do not become sidetracked with issues of lesser value. Time is of the essence. There is a perfect timing to call forth and to tear down, when to snatch out of the fire and when to leave in for I am the Master Potter and My burning love is molding you into My image.
Seek Me and wait patiently for Me to move and trust Me. Walk by faith and not by sight. Sense My presence for I am with you always. Walk and talk with Me in the cool of the day. Be with Me. Know Me. Love Me for I am your God.

I Sleep but My Heart Is Awake
By Steve Porter
The Lord gave me this vision as I was waiting on Him during the night season. As it gradually unfolded in front of me, I clearly saw the following events take place.
I sleep, but my heart is awake; it is the voice of my beloved!
He knocks, saying, “Open for me, my sister, my love, my dove, my perfect one; for my head is covered with dew, my locks with the drops of the night” (Song of Solomon 5:2, NKJV).
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:20, NKJV).
As I lay in my bed, I heard the sound of faint knocking. It was the one my soul loves. My heart leaped within as He spoke to me, saying, “Come away with me, My love.” He had a special invitation in His hand, rolled as a scroll. I jumped out of bed eager to open the scroll.
I quickly read the words, “I have invited you to a feast prepared for you. Will you come?”
I said, “Yes, Jesus. I would love to.”
“Come right away and bring nothing with you,” He said tenderly as we approached the hallway leading to my living room.
I was glad I had answered His knock that night or I would have missed my invitation to feast at His table. As I walked with Him into my living room to my favorite prayer chair, my “secret place” was suddenly transformed into a huge dining hall with fine china set perfectly in preparation for the big event. The table was beautifully laid, ready for a special feast.
Jesus took His place at the head of the table. His eyes, so full of love, made me feel welcome. He spoke to me with such tenderness that my heart leaped within as He fixed His gaze on me. There were others who sat at the table, but it was as if Jesus and I were alone in a special place prepared just for us.
My Beloved told me many others were invited to come dine with Him at His table that night, but they would not answer their door to let Him in. I recalled that He had been weeping when I answered the door, overcome to have found a companion with whom to share His heart.
At that moment I realized His hair was wet with dew of the night because He had been standing in the cool night air. I quickly got up off my chair and fell at His feet. “Oh, Precious One,” I cried, “how many times I have left you standing all alone out in the night air?
“How many times have you become ‘wet with the dew’? Oh, Lord, how many times have I chosen the comfort of my bed instead of time with you? I often made you walk alone into the night with your heart breaking.” My tears fell faster than I could wipe them away.
“Get up My child,” He said. “I don’t remember those times because they are under My blood!”
He gently pulled me off the floor and embraced me. Oh, the love I felt as I leaned against Him. He whispered into my ear. “Thank you for keeping Me company tonight, only a few of My choicest servants responded to the call to come.”
I took my place at the table again. Jesus was excited about the meal He had prepared. One person at a time was served His divine meal. When He came to me, He served me only a small portion of food and gave me only a little to drink. The few others around me had plates full and cups overflowing. While I ate with the others I said nothing. I was perplexed.
The Lord perceived what was in my heart and, when everyone had finished the meal, He spoke. “Some ask in their hearts why I gave more substance to some but not to others. This meal symbolizes the deeper things of God, the very secrets of my heart, and I gave you according to your capacity to receive.
“As you keep coming to this table I have freely set before you I will enlarge your capacity to receive through your obedience to the knocks at your door. I must tell you, however, that I come at inconvenient times.
“I want to know, My dear one, that if you love Me as much as I love you I will share many secrets with you, but only if you are willing to come. And as I have said before, only a few chose to respond to My invitation. Most are tucked comfortably in their beds unwilling to lose sleep … but I am the night visitor.”
All at once I was back in my living room with my heart full of the One I desired most. His presence lingered. Night after night I heard Him knocking.  And while I was asleep my heart was always awake, so I could hear his affectionate call. “Come away with Me, my love.”
My living room was often transformed into a banquet hall where I sat at His table with my invitation in hand. I joined only a few others; there was never a crowd.

Each night at His table I was served more and greater substance. My capacity to receive was enlarging with every meal. I drank my new wine with my heart overflowing with joy in the fullness of His presence. I was intoxicated with His love. I was quite content to just sit quietly with Him.
“You have ravished My heart, My treasure, My bride,” He proclaimed, “with only one glance of your eyes. You have become to me as a garden enclosed. Eat, O beloved friends. Drink, yes, drink abundantly of My love.”
His eyes were so full of love that my heart was moved as if it was my first visit with Him. From deep within I cried, “I am my Beloved’s—the one He desires. Come, my love,” I pleaded, “let us go and spend the night together. There will I give you my love.” I woke up the next morning still in His arms, eating while leaning on the chest of my Lord.
Each night, as I climb into bed, my heart is always awake listening ever so closely for that familiar knock from the One I desire more than life itself. I vowed not to leave Him standing outside, all alone in the night.
He has come with an invitation in hand; my night visitor has prepared a special place for me. There He shares His heart, uttering whispers from the throne room that can be heard nowhere else, only at His table where I feast on His presence.
“Many are called but few are chosen” (Matt. 22:14).
Father, I make myself available to You in the night seasons. I sleep but my heart is awake… Speak, Lord, for thy servant has a listening heart…

“Laughter and Joy” Elaine Tavolacci

June 5, 2018
Elaine Tavolacci
I want to share a word that I had a couple of years ago. With all the warfare and the trying times that we are living in, many believers have lost the joy that they once had. They are burdened down with worries, sickness and fatigue. The Holy Spirit is showing me that He is going to restore joy and release laughter to His people. There is a great time of rejoicing coming to those who have been going through a difficult season. We have all been held captive to something in our lives, and the enemy is trying to enslave people once again through sickness, financial problems, family issues, fears and addictions. Whatever difficulty you are going through Jesus wants to release you and restore the joy back into your life.
The book of Psalms chapter 126 speaks about how the Israelites rejoiced after their return from the exile and the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion. In the days of Nehemiah, when they came back from Persia at the decree of Ezra, they were rejoicing when they realized that they were able to go back and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. They were so filled with joy that they described it as a dream. The Lord wants to rebuild the things in your life that have been devoured by adversity.
The Lord says, I am rebuilding those areas of your life that have been destroyed in the battle. I will restore those things that have been lost or stolen and I will remove the heavy burdens that have weighed you down. Shackles are being broken and captives are being released. The strongholds that have held you prisoner are coming off. I am releasing the prisoners of war, and returning them home once again. I am healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free.
Allow me to release you from addictions that you are not able to overcome on your own, lifestyles that you are not able to change, and renew your old mindsets and negative ways of thinking. Allow me to be Lord over every area of your life. Allow me to free you from the bondage that is keeping you from walking in freedom. I will break the restraints that are holding you back from all that I have provided for you. Take the limits off me in what I am able to do. Although you are in a difficult season, victory shall be yours and joy and laughter shall return to you. As you have sown in tears, you shall reap in joy. You will go out with joy and be sent forth with peace. This is the Covenant promises that I have made with you; says the Lord.
Psalms 126:1-6
When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Jeremiah 29:14
I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Acts 2:28
You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence.

No longer will the presence of the Father be something that is entered into, but will be the place that we are always at rest. The revelation of being saints here and now seated in heavenly places will take such deep root, that no longer will the body be seeking ways or people to be brought into the presence but will see that it is an inheritance for all who accept what Christ the elder Son has done. The body will be moved away from seeking “the high’ and be made new, we then can approach the throne boldly not because of what we have done, but because we too are His sons and all that He has is ours and all that we are is His.
Let us release works today, let us relinquish our desires and put to death the flesh of the old man. The Father is calling the Saints forward and upward to show the sons their crown of life. As we step into the Father”s presence let us never leave, let us leave behind the death of the old man and allow Him to make us new. For we know in part and He wants to bring revelation that will draw the lost into reconciliation.
Bless the Father for His goodness, His love, and His mercy. It is in the Father’s presence that we understand love, peace, faith, hope, and the fruit of the Spirit are made our new characteristics through Him. With the Father we receive the peace of protection and the enlightenment of the body. the quickening of the Spirit will come upon us.
Glory to Him!!!
