At first there were
but twelve who, In the Upper Room, Sat down with Jesus at the Paschal Feast.
But now we come in myriads To sup with our
Beloved— So greatly has His “little flock” increased!
Once more He lifts the Cup Vintage red
and bittersweet, And we hear Him say, “This is My Blood,” again.
Then we in turn receive it With thanksgiving,
as did they. That we may taste His passion and His pain.
And when He breaks the Bread And speaks the
Holy Words
That bless it and
transform it to our need;
Again Christ stands revealed— ALIVE forever more! As
the Bread becomes His Body indeed!

Was struck by finding Isaiah 3:13-15 (NLT)
13 The Lord takes his place in court
and presents his case against his people!
14 The Lord comes forward to pronounce judgment
on the elders and rulers of his people:
“You have ruined Israel, my vineyard.
Your houses are filled with things stolen from the poor.
15 How dare you crush my people,
grinding the faces of the poor into the dust?”
demands the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

on the morning after learning of the third leader in 3 yrs dismissed from the Vineyard. On a positive note also am encouraged by the latest '22' thread:
Psalm 94:22 [NLT]...Psalm 94:22
22 But the Lord is my fortress;
my God is the mighty rock where I hide.
my God is the mighty rock where I hide.

Hebrews 12:1-3 (NLT)
God’s Discipline Proves His Love
12 Therefore,
since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life
of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially
the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the
race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.[a] Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. 3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won’t become weary and give up.
- Hebrews 12:2 Or Jesus, the originator and perfecter of our faith.
- Hebrews 12:3 Some manuscripts read Think of how people hurt themselves by opposing him.
John 20:27-29 (New Living Translation)
27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”
28 “My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed.
29 Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
