God Loves A Broken Heart
Waking up to testify yesterday has gone
You've lost everything you love and the beat goes on
tryin' to swim across a river that's just to wide
And it doesn't look like anyone's on your side Oh no
So you search for a means,
While they put an end to all your dreams
Got you cursing your best friend
Nothing seems to bend
Couldn't stand to feel this way again
It's got to end
God Loves a broken heart
He turns an end into a start
And if God loves a broken heart
Then he must love me
Now the days turn into weeks and the years roll by
Day by day it's getting worse and you wonder why Oh yes
No ones tryin' to tell you how you should run your life, no one baby
Trustin' only in yourself is a life of strife yes it is now
You can say what you will
But you're never gonna get your fill
Till he stops you in your stride
Breaks your foolish pride
Just to get a hold of what's inside
That's why he died
God Loves a broken heart
He turns an end into a start
If God loves a broken heart
Then he must love me
Me, He's got to love and everybody else
God Loves a broken heart
He turns an end into a start
And if God loves a broken heart
Then he must love me

Recalling this song on my mind when Mark DuPont ministering, commented that hadn't heard anyone getting prophetic word about when Gulf War (Desert Storm) air war would switch to actual boots on ground invasion of Iraq; I had been given a date and picture of handwriting on wall and a number which co-incided with troop number! Did not have courage to speak about to congregation but did share with Brent who told me it was a good revelation. He was doing rehab of house for his dad at corner on Chittenden next to Fairgrounds and RR tracks
