This has to be more than coincidental-at a mtg. with James Maloney, one of the prophetic/music leaders shared a picture of a banquet table which had become cluttered with a lot of stuff that was meant for Jesus to take care of/carry--not us, His people. He then saw the hand of God come and sweep the debris off the table, clearing it for it's intended purpose. In his message James shred the same thought though did not verbalize the connection, probably because it hadn't occured to him.

There is such an obvious parallel here with the space junk-there are many things, such as grudges, guilt, UN-confessed sins, unprocessed grief etc. that clutter the spaces between our hearts and minds and God. He wants to clear them away so we can be restored to the place of fellowship and delight we had in the original Eden.

Jesus Appears to His Disciples

19 That Sunday evening[b] the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you,” he said. 20 As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord! 21 Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” 22 Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

Matt 11:
28 Then Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

John 20:
12 Now come and have some breakfast!” Jesus said. None of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. 13 Then Jesus served them the bread and the fish. 14 This was the third time Jesus had appeared to his disciples since he had been raised from the dead.
[ And many others]
