"The Anointing Is About To Come Upon You!"

For many of you reading this, your whole life has just been a series of phases of preparation and service meant to lead you to the place where you are today, and to the mighty anointing of God for this last harvest. And now though you may feel least ready for it, God’s anointing is about to come upon you suddenly and powerfully in a way that will amaze and astound you no matter how much you’ve been believing God for. The greater works are about to begin and they are going to happen through you, so I’ve included some pertinent things below that the Lord has been sharing with me about the time that is upon us in order to help you during this wonderful but challenging time ahead.
1. Secret sin is an anointing killer- Just like King David sleeping with Bathsheba, or Achan hiding gold under his tent, secret sin must be avoided at all cost; because it can not only hurt and ruin you, but also those around you. So if you have any old habits of sneaky-cheating or selfish-flesh-choices going on, now is the time to root them out and step into the Light all the way. No more hiding things!
2. Get good at resisting temptation triggers- You can better believe that as you start moving out and walking in the power of God that old and new temptation triggers will pop up to try to distract, derail, and discredit you. If you have any weak areas then now is the time to ask the Holy Spirit to give you better revelation of the truth in order to combat the lies of the devil as they come to lead you astray.
3. Always preach and teach the word only- Regardless of what new miracles may be happening or new revelations you may be getting concerning the Kingdom, make sure that what you are teaching people is coming straight from the word of God. If you are not sure about it then ask the Holy Spirit to back it up with the word and He will give you some scriptures about it. Keep your message clean.
4. This is about Jesus’ ministry, not ours- Whatever happens try to make sure that you don’t allow it to be turned into a ministry that focuses on you. Jesus the Head, is moving through His body, so all we need to do is what the Head tells us to do. Once we start trying to put our hands to it, then the anointing will die. So just do His ministry and avoid being pressured or tempted into making it more.
5. Always promote the baptism of the Holy Spirit- God’s Holy Spirit is who sanctifies, counsels, and trains a new believer, so just like in the book of Acts we should pray for the baptism of the Holy Spirit for people right after they get saved. To do anything less would result in people having no roots and things drying up in them very quickly. Keep people in the word, and teach them all that Jesus said.
6. Love and truth will prevent most warfare- Most of us are used to a certain level of spiritual warfare, but we will be taken to higher levels of it as the Holy Spirit begins to move, so we must be ready for it now by clothing ourselves with the fruit of the Spirit and the armor of God. Get good in your home at fighting warfare with truth and love now, and then you’ll be able to do it at a larger scale later on.
7. Miracles are the dinner bell for salvation- No matter what wonderful manifestation of God’s Spirit that you see, just understand that this is meant to lead people to salvation. Always make sure that you give people the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ when they have received any miracle. Even people who have had miracles can go to hell, so always make sure and preach the gospel to them.
8. Don’t go back to old sin idols when things get rough or scary- The children of Israel went back to their old sin idols when they thought Moses left, and because of that many of them were suddenly destroyed. In these last days as we see the fullness of the glory of God we must make sure not to make the same mistake when it looks like all hell has broken loose and God’s gone. Stay obedient!
9. Always be genuine and honest, and don’t fake it- When the real Holy Spirit and God’s angels are helping you with ministry you won’t have to fake it or try to fill in the blanks with flesh. Just listen to the Holy Spirit and do exactly what He tells you to and nothing more. This is about Jesus doing what He wants through us, not about us trying to figure it out on our own. It must be genuine, or nothing.
10. Stay clean and spend time with God every day- The quickest way to dampen your anointing is to either willfully sin, or to fail to spend time with God every day. Avoid defilers and make prayer and reading the word your daily top priority. If you don’t, you will be running on flesh again and be more susceptible to sin. Make a set time that works for you and stick with it; you will be glad that you did.
So may some of these things help you; also remember that like Moses, it’s ok to feel not ready or adequate for the job ahead, because you’re not. This task ahead is too big for you, and it’s meant to be that way. This way you will always be dependent upon God every day, and you won’t try to get creative on Him or minister in the flesh. So expect the genuine anointing of God to begin to manifest and flow through you now, and know that it’s not a coincidence that sick people are standing out to you more right now, because Jesus is about to heal and deliver them all! This is your day to shine!
