“For You, It Is Lost No More”

By Josiah Cullen

Slammed like Solomon dared to be if he thought safety is his sappy lines to lovers

Sap is our lopsided offering often even as God is opening vast spaces of reality to us

Solomon, do you lead the dominant sordid pack if you jailed your God-given wisdom?

Yawning to the Lord, as if joy magically just landed on you, sand blown over your life?

Solomon, sitting first in God-given wisdom, you rushed to separate yourself from the fires of His strength

Are you too jailed in all your spiritual gems when you should go and journey to the mountain of your God?

Hidden for kings is the treasure heard about in the goodness of God

Sing to the living, to the pilfering fighters—it is lighting up the land!

Do you steal simple happinesses, or do you hold the claim to the stars that were flung in the sky for you?

Go to the North Star to find the finest start to your journey

Ask for the route of justice to fit your own destiny

The last freedom you felt will light up the trail to the next lock to be undone

Am I a jar of clay? Yes, less than dust, yet He has formed me to hold His glory

Sail to the Sea of Crystal—it is gorgeous in all its finest colors and light rays

Join the distant shore in the company of precious saints rousing your fervor to journey to find joy for this life

Destiny is daily gifted like the sun in the morning

Sit tuned to the song you first heard hailed so joyfully over your human life!

Hours run to yesterdays and to tomorrows yet His might is for the now

Did He jest when He hailed your life in His imagination?

Slowly did He hover over the story of your life in the stillness of His holiness!

Surely it is gates stolen if you feel unloved and unprotected by Him

Gifted to fire up your standing in Christ’s alluring justice over you, I am ready to go

So I am hearing the little hurts rise up as I am fighting for this treasure

He is furious love—it is not just like sappy love

Wisdom is sitting true to His love over you

Moments of simple glibness, old hat, honestly led to Solomon’s loss of joy in life

Just to hold sap, poetry, gems and proverbs alone is to hold Love away in a kingdom’s jailed tower
