2014 EYE HAS NOT SEEN
The Lord showed me several things for the coming year of 2014. The first and foremost thing that He has revealed to me is that He is calling the body of Christ into a more intimate relationship with Him. He will make Himself known as the revealer of mysteries to those who are spending time with Jesus who is "the word of truth". The Lord says; It is in this secret place of intimacy that you will receive clarity and direction for your life. My word will come alive and revelation will be released in a new way to those who are willing to abandon their lives for the abundant life that I have for you. As the Ancient of Days, I will show you the hidden treasures of My word and bring you into alignment with My will as deep calls out to deep. Allow Me to dwell in your midst, walk with you and talk with you. As you do, it will not be difficult to walk by faith.

This is not the time to be lax because the Lord is looking for radical warriors. Shake off the spiritual lethargy and prepare for a spiritual awakening. The Lord says, I am looking for the remnant who are not fearful or fainthearted. They are not intimidated when they are sent out as sheep among wolves because they are bold and they know their authority. They are determined and willing to lay down their lives no matter what the cost, and they are able to stand against the wiles of the devil. They are those who know My voice and will not accept the lies of the accuser of the brethren. They are courageous when faced with challenges because they know that I will give them the strength to endure all tests and trials. I am raising up watchman on the wall with keen discernment. They will learn how to tune in to My frequencies and recognize the assignment that I have given to them. They will not be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine because they are grounded in My word.

Another thing that the Lord showed me was a virus scan. Just as a virus scan removes and cleans out viruses, malware, and anything that is malicious and will bring harm or destroy your computer, the Lord says; free yourselves from anything and anyone who would keep you from entering the fullness of what I have for you in the coming year. Sever yourselves from those relationships who would lead you astray. Separate yourself from anyone who brings strife or division. Align yourselves with men and women of faith and integrity, and those who are true to their word. Build relationships with others who will strengthen you as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. I have called you to bring joy to the world, not sorrow. Refrain yourself from anything that causes you to sin.

A few days ago the Lord gave me this dream. In the dream, a friend of mine and her husband gave me a gift in a big gold box. I opened the box and there was a huge pair of binoculars. I picked them up and held them up to my eyes. They were extremely over sized but I was so thrilled to receive them. The Lord says, I am expanding your spiritual perception. In the same way that binoculars are adjusted to see in magnification, wide angle or panoramic view, I am going to open My people's eyes to see things in a new way. For some of you, The seer anointing will open up to you and you will receive visions and dreams, and your eyes will be opened as the blinders are lifted. There is a door standing open in heaven. It is not a natural door and I am calling you to come up here and I will show you things that must take place. You shall declare a thing, and it shall be established
As 2013 has been such a difficult year for many, The Lord is going to restore you and release justice for those of you who have been wrongfully used, abused, misused and attacked. For those of you who have been through fiery trials in the past year, ask the Lord for justice. For those of you who have been backslidden or have went off course, ask Him for forgiveness. If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. This is the year to get your life in alignment with Jesus as we are coming into a season in which eye has not seen, and ear has not heard the things that He has prepared for us.

Isaiah 21:6
For thus has the Lord said to me: "Go, set a watchman, Let him declare what he sees."
Jeremiah 30:17
I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,' says the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

Revelation 4:1
After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."

Word for the New Year: Calling All Warriors!
Bobby Conner
Called As Warriors!
God's Holy Spirit is stirring His people! The King of kings is awakening warriors to take their place, to join the victorious, joyful band of Believers known as the overcomers, those who stand strong for King Jesus and carry His glory and love throughout the earth (1 John 5:4)!
As followers of this glorious King, each one of us is called and commissioned by the Spirit of God to become mighty warriors of God. What is a warrior? One who has experienced many battles and has defeated every enemy. One who succeeds without fail! The warrior, however, is not a common soldier. Warriors demonstrate nobility and honor, bravery and fearlessness, and, above all, radical devotion to their Leader. Warriors will die for their king!
You may well be asking, "Me? A mighty warrior?" Yes, you! Does this calling sound impossible? It is! Is this beyond your strength and ability? Absolutely!
Christ, Our Warrior Within
Our identity as warriors of God is only possible because we, in ourselves, are now dead! We have been crucified with Christ. We no longer live: our lives have been bought by His Blood at Calvary. Christ now lives as God's Warrior in and through us!
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20
During these perilous, dark days, we can be fearless champions because Christ, living within and through us, has already "overcome the world" (see also Joshua 1:7). We don't have to overcome; Christ already has. He is the mighty Lion of Judah! He is the King of kings! Remember His promise: "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). The apostle Paul reminds us that we are NOW more than conquerors in and through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37).
Believing and acting on this precious truth Christ the King within us will empower us to stand boldly before all, fearless in the face of any difficult circumstance and confident in the Lord's presence – no matter what personal loss, family disappointment, sickness or poverty threatens our lives, the lives of our loved ones, or the lives of those who cross our path. We are called to carry His Kingdom of love everywhere we go, defeating His enemies every step of the way!
Warriors Believe the Word
How exactly do we allow Christ the King to fight our daily battles? It's very simple! As His warriors, we simply choose not to look at "the things which are seen" but to fix our heart and mind on the greater, unseen reality of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Word of God and the Spirit of God living and reigning within us. Through Christ our King we are unstoppable and invincible. He promises that no weapon formed against us will work (Isaiah 54:17): no sickness, no depression, no confusion, no fear, and no lack!
If all of this is indeed true, you may be wondering, then why is it that most Believers don't feel victorious warriors? The reason is very clear: it is a mistake to walk by our own thoughts, emotions and perceptions of "reality." If we pay attention to this natural realm, we will fight the enemy in our flesh and soul, not by God's Spirit and Word and thus lose every battle. We must walk by faith standing on His Word and living in His Spirit and expect the Lord to "make good" on His promises. Fix your eyes on Jesus, call on His Name, stand on His Word, and every battle will be won!
Warriors Deny Themselves
This shift from living through our soul (our own will, carnal mind and natural emotions) to living by His Spirit and Word is the necessary path and true cost of discipleship: each one of us must die to ourselves and live for Christ. We must choose to yield to His Spirit and Word (renew our mind), deny ourselves and declare His truth over ourselves and our circumstances: "Let the weak say, 'I am strong'" (Joel 3:10). In the Psalms, we hear mighty words of victory:
"Through You we will push down our enemies. Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us." Psalm 44:5
Our call is not to give ourselves over to fear, doubt and unbelief, but to His righteousness, peace and joy within us. We are called to be upright in all we do, rejoicing always, and be bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). Of course this is the call of God's grace. We cannot change ourselves, but we must have confidence in the grace and power of Christ working within and through us. He is the One who will transform us from carnal Christians who live by the flesh, who give credence to their carnal minds and unsanctified emotions, to warriors who "live and move and have our being" in Christ as dread champions of God's unconditional, matchless love and warriors for His Truth, who stand without compromise. As for me and my house we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15)!
May this New Year of 2013 be a year overflowing with God's magnificent favor and amazing grace upon you and your family (Psalm 84:11)! Amen! Arise, mighty warriors!

2013 – The Joseph Anointing

Garris Elkins
2013 will be a year the Church begins to experience the release of a Joseph Anointing. This Joseph Anointing will be like the story recorded in Genesis when God called Joseph from a pit to a palace to help Israel and the surrounding nations survive a coming season of famine. God is releasing this anointing upon His people so we can become a supernatural blessing of wisdom and resource for the nations of the world.
Joseph was a pivotal figure in the history of Israel. God called Joseph to stand in the gap for Israel between desolation and their future destiny. Joseph came to this position bringing nothing with him. He was thrown into a pit and left for dead. He was then taken out of the pit and sold into slavery by the very people who should have loved him – his brothers. After being falsely accused of a sexual assault, he was put in prison and stayed there until God raised him up to a place of prominence and authority as second in command to Pharaoh. Through all the heartache and hardship he experienced, God never abandoned Joseph.
In the Book of Genesis, where the events of Joseph's life are recorded, I noticed three components of his anointing – Dream Interpretation, Apostolic Administration and Reconciliation. These components can function through a single person or they can be released through a group of Believers functioning with a common vision.
The Strategic Placement of Dream Interpreters
Dream interpreters will rise in prominence in this anointing. Both in prison and in the courts of Pharaoh, it was Joseph's ability to interpret dreams that gave him audience with those in authority. Some of the people who will have these dreams hold positions of governmental authority and others work in the highest levels of the corporate world where normal routes of access to them are restricted. The dreams of these individuals, and their need to understand them, will become the bridge that connects these dreamers with those gifted with God's interpretation of dreams.
The Rise of Apostolic Administration
There will be a release and recognition of the supernatural aspect of the administrative gift. Some see the gift of administration in a lesser light than God intends for it to be seen. There will be a rising up of Administrative Apostles.
In Potiphar's house, in prison, and before Pharaoh, the administrative gift in Joseph was the gift God used to release his blessing to the nations. The detailed administrative plan Joseph shared with Pharaoh became God's supernatural provision and solution to Pharaoh's dream. It provided the structure that the nation of Egypt and the surrounding nations needed to survive during a famine.
Reconciliation of Nations through Families
After experiencing deep personal pain and rejection, Joseph was willing to make a way for his family to survive the famine. He did not allow his painful personal history to be a roadblock to what God desired to do in his family and as a result the nation of Israel was spared from starvation.
The provision of physical needs was a vehicle God used to bring restoration and reconciliation to Joseph's family and to Israel. Joseph's anointing was able to flow because he was willing to reconcile with those who had wronged him.
One of the greatest hindrances to the moving of God's Spirit in the midst of God's people is the unwillingness to release an offense. Reconcilers take practical and tangible steps towards reconciliation no matter what the cost. Reconcilers initiate plans for healing and restoration.
Joseph wept as he reconciled with his family – this is the heart of a reconciler. Behind each act of familial reconciliation there stands a city or a nation waiting to be set free. Israel and the surrounding nations endured a severe famine because one man was willing to reconcile with those who had wronged him.
Word of the Lord for 2013
As the Lord processed this word and the coming year with me, He went on to reveal how this anointing would function:
"As I chose to record the works of My servant Joseph in a book about new beginnings, so My presence in you will become a place to birth a new beginning. This anointing will bring a Genesis experience to My Church.
"I am forming in you a place of supernatural provision. I have put My Presence in you to become a silo of abundance resembling a farmer's silo that stores grain for a future planting. Like Joseph, you will come to this place of provision bringing nothing with you, except My Presence. It will be from the depths of My Presence in you that I will draw out this blessing for the nations.
"This anointing will not be a work of addition, but of supernatural multiplication. I will birth this in you like I did when I multiplied the loaves and fish that fed thousands. My provision will flow from what appears to the natural eye to be a place of nothingness. It will become a miraculous provision that will surprise not only those who receive it, but it will surprise My people. You will say, 'Where did this come from? How did abundance come from nothing?'
"I will draw the nations to you as I did to Joseph when I repositioned him in Egypt. They will come for a survival provision, but I have more planned than just their survival. I will use you to bring them into their destiny.
"The Joseph Anointing will turn a famine into a feast; a lack into a gain and a set back into a leap forward. The nations will see that I am in your midst. Set the tables – a feast of provision is coming."
Finally, the trials and issues you have faced in your life have been used by God to position you for the greatest impact. As Joseph spoke to his brothers, the Lord will also speak through you to those who have stood against you in the past. As you are anointed and released you will be able to say, like Joseph:
"God has sent me ahead of you to keep you and your families alive and to preserve many survivors. So it was God who sent me here, not you!" Genesis 45:7-8

Contrast Between Light and Dark

Arise, shine; for your light has come!  And the glory of The Lord is risen upon you.  For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and his glory will be seen upon you.  Then you shall see and become radiant, and your heart shall swell with joy; because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. The multitudes of camels shall cover your land, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. (Is. 60:1-2, 5-6)
In contrast to the season of glory for those who prepare and hear, it will be a season of darkness or, as some translations say, “gloom” for those unprepared. The good news is that we are not created for darkness and gloom, but for glory!  In this passage, the camels brought wealth in caravans.  So for us as believers, this means the camels, or their modern-day equivalents, are coming with provision!
This will also be connected with the transference of wealth on international levels.  For those who watch and listen, they will hear the voice of the Lord for huge financial blessings.  The Joseph generation is going to emerge in this season as never before.

Just before the Lord releases a new mantle or anointing upon an individual, He will often "dis-mantle" elements of that individual’s previous level of service. This dismantling may include a sense of insecurity or brokenness. But if we keep faith in God during the process, a new mantle with come. When it does, you will have greater conformity to Christ, and thus greater power. – In Christ’s Image Training

How to Interpret Dreams and Common Dreams by Doug Addison

New Creative Flow from Heaven by Doug Addison

 Mysteries and Revelation
There is an amazing open Heaven and creative flow happening right now in the month of December. Creative ideas, songs, and writing will begin to flow at a greater level this month. Be ready to capture them and write them down.
God created the heavens and the earth, and we are all created in God's image (Genesis 5:1). Because God is creative, we all have a built-in desire and ability to be creative as well. Too often we think creativity is only for artists, musicians, dancers, or designers. Everyone is creative and designed to be so by our Creator in different ways. God is releasing creative ideas, inventions, strategies, etc. There is no limit.
Radical New Styles and New Sounds
Expect fresh new revelation to start flowing from here on through next year. We have heard similar prophetic words, styles, and sounds, but God is releasing a new sound that many will be quick to judge when they first hear it. Many will not discern it being from God. But for those who do, it will be the breath of fresh air, the drink of new wine you have longed for. There will be new understanding about how to give and receive prophetic revelation.
There is a new freedom of expression. I have been releasing prophetic seasonal and words of direction for a number of years. A while back God spoke to me to start releasing short, to-the-point daily prophetic words. I get more positive, encouraging feedback on the small daily words than on anything else.
Last year I had the honor of being featured in Darren Wilson's documentary film, Father of Lights while doing prophetic tattoo interpretations in a nightclub. Since that film was released, it gave people permission to get outside the box of churches and try new things. God is fun and creative. This is the time to break out of the mundane. For example, I use stand-up comedy in my ministry to lighten people's attitudes and you don't even feel the scalpel go in during healing times!
I have been using wholesome secular dance songs and often minister with a "Holy Spirit Dance Party." People dance, laugh, and have fun while a strong presence of God fills the room. We'll get a number of reports the next day from people who got healed during the dancing with no one laying hands on them. These are only a few examples of how God's Holy Spirit power can touch people using a new style that has no limits. You are now free to step out and have fun!
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:17-18 NIV
New Move of God's Healing Power
In 2008, the Lakeland Florida Revival brought a lot of great things and yet some people were wounded by the outcome. Whether you agreed with it or not, God spoke to me clearly on November 15th that many people have been suffering from the letdown after the Lakeland Revival. God did legitimate miracles during that time but afterwards a demonic attack came to try to get people to no longer trust the Holy Spirit or to move freely in spiritual gifts in churches.
Get ready for a new movement of God's Holy Spirit with power and healing that is coming in 2014. To make way, the "Lakeland Letdown" is being removed right now. A new level of trust is being restored to allow the Holy Spirit to freely move as God directs. A long awaited return of healing power is here and will increase throughout 2014!
Heavens are Opening up Faster
I have recently noticed that the heavens are opening and God's presence comes much more quickly during worship times.
Many churches have been accustomed to spending extended time in worship to enter into God's presence. A change has happened since September and now we must learn to interact with what God is releasing in new ways.
I had a visitation from Jesus last August and He told me that we are entering into a season of His rest, in which we labor less and produce more. This applies to entering into God's presence during worship.
I have seen Holy Spirit move in so many new ways with people everywhere. But one thing stays the same: you have to step into what God is doing when the opportunity is there. God can release an anointing for physical healing, fire, love, open heavens, dreams, visions, whatever. But it takes discernment and risk taking to catch God's timing for any given situation.
Grab hold of Holy Spirit and work with what you experience. This is a year to accelerate into learning Holy Spirit's touch and entering into an atmosphere of love from God.
Why We do what We do
The prophetic ministry is an amazing and needed function in the world today. It helps us to discern our times and seasons, gives us insight into God's desires for us, and helps keep us on course with God's will for our lives. Our motivation and foundation for doing prophetic ministry is found in Ephesians:
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. Ephesians 1:18 NIV (emphasis mine)
My prayer for you is that God will fill you with wisdom and revelation this Christmas season and that you will indeed know Him better.
Have a great Christmas and prosperous New Year

YOU SHALL PURSUE, OVERTAKE & RECOVER ALL
King David was a man after Gods heart. Although he had gone through many battles, he was an overcomer and became a leader. When he was running from Saul, the Lord sent him to the cave of Adullam. There were four hundred men in this cave that were in distress, in debt and discontented. David taught them how to be invincible warriors as they were raised up and trained as a mighty army. In 1 Samuel chapter 30 when David and his men returned home from war, they reached Ziklag, and found it destroyed by fire, and their wives, sons and daughters were taken captive by the Amalekites. David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. They reached the breaking point and the people even turned against David wanting to stone him. But then something rose up in David. He strengthened himself in the Lord, and asked Him; "Shall I pursue this troop? Will I overtake them?" The Lord responded: "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."

The Lord says, although the battle's have been fierce and everything in your life seems to be destroyed and lost forever, you shall not be defeated. As you encourage yourself in Me just as King David did, you will gain spiritual momentum once again. Set your mind on things above and resist all discouragement. Stay strong and trust Me in the battle. Even when the enemy comes in with an ambush, the armor that I have provided for you will be sufficient to be victorious in every battle. Stand immovable knowing that I have given you the ability and the authority to overcome every assault that is raised up against you. Do not deviate from the truth and don't ever retreat. No matter how things appear in the natural, stand on the promises that I have given to you. Don't deviate from My plans. Don't lose sight of My word. Listen for My voice in the midst of the storm.
The assignments sent from the enemy are meant to divert your attention off your purpose, but as you pursue the dream, the calling and the vision that I have placed in your heart, your perseverance will catapult you ahead into what you have been called to do. These misfortunes that were sent to destroy you will strengthen you as you endure hardness as a good soldier without wavering.  Do not allow the enemy to intimidate you and don't be moved by his ineffectual strategies. Rise up as men and women of faith and take the position of the warrior that I have created you to be. Do not allow fear or bitterness to take root and refuse to be moved by the things that you hear and see in the natural. As you trust in Me, I will make the crooked paths straight. I will not fail you or lead you astray but as you strengthen yourself in Me, you shall surely pursue, overtake and without fail recover all, says the Lord.

1 Samuel 30: 6
Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.
1 Samuel 30: 8 - 10
So David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?" And He answered him, "Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all." So David went, he and the six hundred men who were with him, and came to the Brook Besor, where those stayed who were left behind. But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor.
1 Samuel 30: 18 - 20
David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking either small or great, sons or daughters, spoils or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all. Then David took all the flocks and herds they had driven before those other livestock, and said, "This is Davids spoil.

On way home from Powell on a Comfort Keeper assignment I decided to drive through the intersection of  Sawmill & Summit-view where the Moravian/Redeemers church is located. This was the church I had seen in a prophetic dream before I had ever been inside the sanctuary. As I passed the church I was listening to Air1 radio and heard the word of wisdom for the day: "The difference between stumbling blocks and steppingstones is what you do with them!"

Thank You Lord for this 'God-incidence', reminding me of the dream of steppingstones made from sectioned tree trunks which had heart wood that had been turned to diamond and the lunch at Arcadia & High where a sectioned tree had a happy face in the heartwood!

CHRISTIAN DRESS AND ADORNMENT
Chapter 2
DRESS AND ORNAMENTS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
Samuele Bacchiocchi, Ph. D., Andrews University
Sometimes church members will remove colorful cosmetics and jewelry simply "because the church says so" rather than because they understand the principles that God has revealed to ensure a healthy relationship with Him. Such members are prone to ask, "What is wrong with my earrings or necklace? They are inconspicuous and inexpensive! What is wrong with wearing my miniskirt to church? It is only four inches above the knee! I am still young, and this is what everybody else wears!"
My heart has been troubled on many occasions by these questions because they reveal a negative attitude toward God. The concern seems to be: "How much adornment and body exposure can I get by with and still be accepted by God?" This attitude reflects a desire to do only the minimum necessary for salvation.
But a genuine Christian will not ask, "How little can I do and still remain a child of God?" but rather, "How much can I do to show my faith, love, and commitment to Christ through my outward appearance?" This is the positive approach springing from a heart so full of love for God that it wants to know how best to glorify Him in all aspects of lifestyle, including outward appearance. Christians with this positive and loving attitude are eager to know what God has revealed in Scripture regarding dress, jewelry, and cosmetics. It is with this attitude that we shall conduct our study, beginning from the Old Testament.
Objective of Chapter. This chapter examines the most relevant Old Testament passages dealing with jewelry, cosmetics, and extravagant clothing. We shall discover a consistent association of the use of these articles with seduction, adultery, and apostasy. We shall see that the removal of outward ornaments is a precondition to inward spiritual cleansing and reconciliation with God. In view of the fact that some people find support in certain Old Testament passages for a moderate use of jewelry, we shall give special attention to these passages and to the arguments drawn from them.
The Robe of Light. The human body was the crown of God’s creation, most marvellous in design, most beautiful in form and features, and most charming in expression. God expressed His total satisfaction over His creation of Adam and Eve, declaring it "very good" (Gen 1:31). In their Edenic state man and woman wore only the garment of their innocence. "A beautiful soft light, the light of God, enshrouded the holy pair. This robe of light was a symbol of their spiritual garments of heavenly innocence. Had they remained true to God it would ever have continued to enshroud them. But when sin entered, they severed their connection with God, and the light that had encircled them departed. Naked and ashamed, they tried to compensate for the loss of the heavenly garments by sewing together fig leaves for a covering."1
In the Bible, clothes or their absence (nudity) serve to represent the spiritual condition of human beings before God and His glory. When Adam and Eve sinned, they suddenly discovered that they "were naked" (Gen 3:7) because they had lost the robe of light. Their nakedness resulted not from removing physical garments. They had never worn any garment until that time. Rather, they became aware of their nakedness the moment they sinned and sensed their separation from the glorious presence of God which had been their covering.
Redemption is often represented in the Bible as the restoration of the original robe of light emanating from God’s glorious presence. Isaiah speaks of the restoration of the robes of light in the Messianic kingdom: "The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light by night, but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory" (Is 60:19). Similarly, John the Revelator compares the church waiting for Christ’s coming to a bride adorned for the wedding: "It was granted her to be clothed with fine linen, bright and pure" (Rev 19:8). The Greek term for "bright" is lampron which literally means "shining, resplendent" like a lamp. The robe of light, lost because of sin, is finally regained. The light of God’s glory will clothe not only the redeemed but the city itself: "And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine upon it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb" (Rev 21:23).
The imagery of clothing extends beyond creation and restoration to include the time in-between. To receive the robe of Christ’s glory at His Return, we need now to "put off the old nature" (Eph 4:23) and to "put on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom 13:14). The white robe of righteousness we are called to wear in this present life is not a garment woven by our efforts, but offered to us by Christ: "I counsel you to buy from me . . . white garments to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nakedness from being seen" (Rev 3:18). The nakedness of sin is covered by the glistening white garments offered by Christ. His promise to those "who have not soiled their garments" is that "they shall walk with me in white" (Rev 3:4).

Graces of the Heirs of Grace

3 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.

Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard

The Curfew tolls the knell of parting day,
The lowing herd wind slowly o'er the lea,
The plowman homeward plods his weary way,
And leaves the world to darkness and to me.

Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight,
And all the air a solemn stillness holds,
Save where the beetle wheels his droning flight,
And drowsy tinklings lull the distant folds;

Save that from yonder ivy-mantled tow'r
The moping owl does to the moon complain
Of such as, wand'ring near her secret bow'r,
Molest her ancient solitary reign.

Beneath those rugged elms, that yew-tree's shade,
Where heaves the turf in many a mould'ring heap,
Each in his narrow cell for ever laid,
The rude Forefathers of the hamlet sleep.

The breezy call of incense-breathing Morn,
The swallow twitt'ring from the straw-built shed,
The cock's shrill clarion, or the echoing horn,
No more shall rouse them from their lowly bed.

For them no more the blazing hearth shall burn,
Or busy housewife ply her evening care:
No children run to lisp their sire's return,
Or climb his knees the envied kiss to share.

Oft did the harvest to their sickle yield,
Their furrow oft the stubborn glebe has broke:
How jocund did they drive their team afield!
How bow'd the woods beneath their sturdy stroke!

Let not Ambition mock their useful toil,
Their homely joys, and destiny obscure;
Nor Grandeur hear with a disdainful smile
The short and simple annals of the poor.

The boast of heraldry, the pomp of pow'r,
And all that beauty, all that wealth e'er gave,
Awaits alike th' inevitable hour:
The paths of glory lead but to the grave.

Nor you, ye Proud, impute to These the fault,
If Memory o'er their Tomb no Trophies raise,
Where through the long-drawn aisle and fretted vault
The pealing anthem swells the note of praise.

Can storied urn or animated bust
Back to its mansion call the fleeting breath?
Can Honour's voice provoke the silent dust,
Or Flatt'ry soothe the dull cold ear of death?

Perhaps in this neglected spot is laid
Some heart once pregnant with celestial fire;
Hands, that the rod of empire might have sway'd,
Or waked to ecstasy the living lyre.

But Knowledge to their eyes her ample page
Rich with the spoils of time did ne'er unroll;
Chill Penury repress'd their noble rage,
And froze the genial current of the soul.

Full many a gem of purest ray serene
The dark unfathom'd caves of ocean bear:
Full many a flower is born to blush unseen,
And waste its sweetness on the desert air.

Some village Hampden that with dauntless breast
The little tyrant of his fields withstood,
Some mute inglorious Milton here may rest,
Some Cromwell guiltless of his country's blood.

Th' applause of list'ning senates to command,
The threats of pain and ruin to despise,
To scatter plenty o'er a smiling land,
And read their history in a nation's eyes,

Their lot forbade: nor circumscribed alone
Their glowing virtues, but their crimes confined;
Forbade to wade through slaughter to a throne,
And shut the gates of mercy on mankind,

The struggling pangs of conscious truth to hide,
To quench the blushes of ingenuous shame,
Or heap the shrine of Luxury and Pride
With incense kindled at the Muse's flame.

Far from the madding crowd's ignoble strife,
Their sober wishes never learn'd to stray;
Along the cool sequester'd vale of life
They kept the noiseless tenor of their way.

Yet ev'n these bones from insult to protect
Some frail memorial still erected nigh,
With uncouth rhymes and shapeless sculpture deck'd,
Implores the passing tribute of a sigh.

Their name, their years, spelt by th' unletter'd muse,
The place of fame and elegy supply:
And many a holy text around she strews,
That teach the rustic moralist to die.

For who, to dumb Forgetfulness a prey,
This pleasing anxious being e'er resign'd,
Left the warm precincts of the cheerful day,
Nor cast one longing ling'ring look behind?

On some fond breast the parting soul relies,
Some pious drops the closing eye requires;
Ev'n from the tomb the voice of Nature cries,
Ev'n in our Ashes live their wonted Fires.

For thee, who, mindful of th' unhonour'd dead,
Dost in these lines their artless tale relate;
If chance, by lonely contemplation led,
Some kindred spirit shall inquire thy fate,

Haply some hoary-headed Swain may say,
'Oft have we seen him at the peep of dawn
Brushing with hasty steps the dews away
To meet the sun upon the upland lawn.

'There at the foot of yonder nodding beech
That wreathes its old fantastic roots so high,
His listless length at noontide would he stretch,
And pore upon the brook that babbles by.

'Hard by yon wood, now smiling as in scorn,
Mutt'ring his wayward fancies he would rove,
Now drooping, woeful wan, like one forlorn,
Or crazed with care, or cross'd in hopeless love.

'One morn I miss'd him on the custom'd hill,
Along the heath and near his fav'rite tree;
Another came; nor yet beside the rill,
Nor up the lawn, nor at the wood was he;

'The next with dirges due in sad array
Slow through the church-way path we saw him borne.
Approach and read (for thou canst read) the lay
Graved on the stone beneath yon aged thorn:'

THE EPITAPH

Here rests his head upon the lap of Earth
A Youth to Fortune and to Fame unknown.
Fair Science frown'd not on his humble birth,
And Melancholy mark'd him for her own.

Large was his bounty, and his soul sincere,
Heav'n did a recompense as largely send:
He gave to Mis'ry all he had, a tear,
He gain'd from Heav'n ('twas all he wish'd) a friend.

No farther seek his merits to disclose,
Or draw his frailties from their dread abode,
(There they alike in trembling hope repose,)
The bosom of his Father and his God.

Tuned to TBN and Dwight Thompson was sharing about the importance of publicly confessing our faith in Christ and renouncing all other gods. Told of Jack Graham witnessing to a Muslim who was willing to accept Jesus but not to the exclusion of others-would not renounce his Muslim religious affiliation. Then he quoted Acts 4:12

Acts 4:12 (NLT)

12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

Like the address - it says to me 'our work/witness', is to invite all to put the governing of their life in the hands of Christ

New Living Translation Isaiah 9:6
For a child is born to us, a Son is given to us. The government will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

"Never let what you are not cancel out what you have become. Don't concentrate on a negative; it’s really important that you rejoice in who you are and who you are becoming."

From OVERCOMING NEGATIVITY THROUGH REST
Identity -ours- in Christ- was on my mind this morning, then saw this:

One of the marks of a powerful person is that they proactively establish practices and build relationships that help remind them of who they are, the number one relationship and connection being the one with Jesus.

Let The Temple Be Filled With His Glory - Cheryl Neptune

Found notes from a Rich Nathan message where he discussed Anthony Flews challenge to believers with the question "How do you tell the difference between an imaginary God and the real one?"
It occurred to me the answer is quite simple-we all tend to try and shape our God into our design and when we come to the place where we understand He is the One who leads us and is Infinite Love and worthy of our worship that challenge seems more and more silly and weak. He is the God of history-there is none like Him in spite of skeptics attempts to teach otherwise and to water down the scriptures.

In the fall of 2012, I saw a vision of a boxing ring with two evil opponents dancing around looking for someone to contend with. One was named The Destroyer, the other was named The Devourer. But no one was opposing them. Then I understood why. I saw on the back of each of their robes the words "This Is Just Life." People believed that all the robbery and difficulty they were encountering was "just life" rather than fighting to take back what was being stolen. It might be wise to inventory what the enemy has robbed from each of us in this past season, then contend and demand a double payment in return. Exodus 22:7 says a thief, when he is caught, must pay back double. It's time to contend!
2. Turning Barrenness into Blossoming
As I set my heart to hear what God is saying to His Church as we began the year of 2013, I had several visions which all had a theme of dry, desolate, desperate situations turning around. I saw a desert that was hot and dry begin to receive great amounts of rain from heaven. As the dry ground received the rain, seeds which had been lying dormant for years suddenly began to spring forth and bloom. Where there was previously no point in sowing in that desolate land, the rain transformed it to become a place of great fruitfulness and blessing. This brought to mind Isaiah 35, which speaks of the desert blossoming, the dry land becoming a pool and springs of water, blind eyes being opened, deaf ears being unstopped, the lame walking, and the redeemed of the Lord singing and rejoicing at the transformation taking place all around them. What caused this turn-around? The outpouring of rain from Heaven!
