STEP OUT OF THE ASHES AND ONTO THE SCENE – Christy Johnston
 
I see a generation that is walking out of the fire. They have been in the flames of adversity, surrounded by the intense fires of hardship, but they are coming out unscathed and unburnt. The fire around them has, in turn, produced a fire within them, a burning of the Holy Spirit Himself, and their eyes are blazing. What the enemy intended for their harm has been forged into their weapons as they come marching out. I hear them shouting to the enemy, “you should have killed us when you had the chance, for now, we have become unstoppable.”
I see them branded with the blood of the Lamb, on their lips is the fiery sword of the Word of God and in their hands are the weapons of their warfare. Every trial, every broken story has produced a fiery sword, designed to strike the enemy where it hurts.
I see them marching into their cities, taking back regions, overturning the works of darkness and igniting the flames of the Holy Spirit upon the hearts of the broken and lost. I see them shifting demonic atmospheres and principalities and striking heaven to earth in courageous authority.
I see a generation of sons and daughters so united in intimacy with their Father, they are like skilled architects of another realm. I hear the Father whispering into their ears, ‘redesign here, restructure over there,’ as they rebuild with divinely inspired intentionality.
I see you. You are this generation. You are the agents of His Kingdom. The sons and daughters of the Bridegroom King, repairers of the breach, restorers of streets to dwell in. Shootings and terrorism will dissipate, division and hate will flee, racism will evaporate the moment you step onto the scene. For within you is the light of life. The light that sends all darkness running. The light that reveals the King. You are the agents of His Kingdom, agents of His glory.
Step out of the ashes, and into the scene, sons and daughters… the earth anticipates your Awakening.
